Hello again. I've got another card to share for the Challenge Your Stash group on SCS. This time it is for the November challenge and Pansy (c-mouse) was the hostess. The theme she chose was to make a Thank You card. I've had this card kit from Stampin Up for some time. They are some all occasion cards and one set was for Thank You cards.
I really do n't have any materials to post here since it was all a part of the kit including the envelope. This was an easy one to make and now I have a box of all occasion cards for the coming year.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas or Happy Hannukah with friends and family.

It's Fall - CYS - October
Well, it isn't Fall anymore. Today is the first day of winter; the shortest day of the year, so now I can start looking to see how long the days are until we get to Daylight Savings Time again. 😊
I am a bit behind on my cards for the Challenge Your Stash group on Splitcoast Stampers. This one was supposed to be for October. It was Vickie Y's turn to be the hostess and she got to pick the theme for our cards. So, the theme was to make an autumn card with autumn colors.
I was really able to really shop my stash for this one.
Materials Used:
Cardstock: Stampin Up - Crisp Cantalope
Designer Paper: We R Memory Keepers
Image: Stampin Up Thankful Forest Friends
Ink: Stampin Up Early Espresso
Accessories: Ribbon and tag from my stash
I have one more to post for today and then I'll be on a short break. Have a great weekend.

Christmas in the Making
Good morning and Happy Sunday. It's a lovely day here today after a few chilly days and more chilly days go come. At least I can say we don't have any SNOW! I've been madly getting Christmas cards ready to send out and did make it to the Post Office yesterday to mail the bulk of them, but still have some from family and friends that will go in the mail tomorrow. Over this next week, I am going to be posting some of the cards that I've made this year that haven't yet made it to my blog. They have all been sent on their way to their destinations.
My card for today is from Stampin Up. This was for the March Fan Club Christmas Challenge. The theme was From Stripes to Staffs.

Christmas - Anything But a Card - IAS #73
Good morning my friends. I hope that you have a wonderful Sunday. It's a little chilly here this morning but should warm up to the mid-70s. I understand that another cold front is on the way that will drop the temps into the 30s. Brrrrrrrrrrr. . . . not looking forward to that.
Today I have a Christmas project - not a card. This is for International Art & Soul's four-week challenge. Yes, you will have a whole month to get something posted on the site. Both of these projects were super easy with kits that I've had for a long time.
The two-round accordion objects are ornaments to hang on your Christmas tree. These were made from a Stampin Up kit that I think I bought last year or maybe the year before and never got around to making them. Decided this year that I would do them and make one for each of my family members. They were pretty easy to put together and only required a little bit of stamping.
The piece in the middle is a slice of a wooden log about 3/8" thick. It was part of a kit I purchased from Papertrey Ink (also at least a year or so ago). It also was pretty easy. I put Mod Podge on the flat surface and then put the die-cut on and more Mod Podge over the top of it. I cut the banner from a small piece of green cardstock and then stamped the Merry Christmas on it. Adhered it to the block with a couple glue dots. You can't see it in the photo, but I also put an edging around the circle block with the Mod Podge. Fun projects. I have a bunch more to do with all the Papertrey Ink Make It Market kits that I have. I just need to find the time. I'm going to try to work them in throughout the year along with my Christmas cards and maybe have some more finished next year.
I hope that you will hop on over to the International Art & Soul challenge page to see what great projects the rest of the Design Team have created to give you some inspiration to join in the fun. You could be the winner or picked as one of the Top 3. Have fun creating.

Merry Christmas in Blue - CCC
Here I am again this Sunday. This time I have a card for the SCS - Creative Card Chicks Monthly Challenge. Each month we have a hostess who sends out a kit to the rest of the members and then we each make at least one card from the kit and post it on the thread, in our gallery, or on our blog. It's always fun to see what each person does with their kit. This month, our hostess was Joyce (ashjoy). She sent us a fun Christmas kit. One can always use Christmas cards.
The stocking and sentiment are from the Power Poppy Poinsettia set. The designer paper is from DCWV. I used Stampin Up Bordering Blue for the card base and a snowflake die from the Haishell Snowflake Die set.
Copic Markers - B32, B34, B37; E40; R24, R27, R37; Y15

Merrriest Christmas Wishes - IAS #72
Hello, my friends and Happy Sunday. It truly is a sunny day today although still a bit chilly out. Did I ever mention that I am NOT a fan of cold weather? LOL! I'm trying my best to deal with it.
Today I have a card for the International Art & Soul challenge. The theme is Christmas With No Image. That was hard for me until I got these beautiful laser-cut card bases in the mail the other day. I saw someone on a YouTube showing how to add glue to the back of them to make a card. Of course, I had to get some.
The white card base is from Stampin Up as well as the Gold Glitter cardstock. The sentiment is also from Stampin Up - Watercolor Christmas. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and then used Gold Glory embossing powder, also from Stampin Up. Then cut it out with a scallop circle die. The ribbon from my stash.
There are some other great creations from the Design Team on the Challenge. Hop on over and check them out and then get creating. You could be a winner or one of the Top 3 for this challenge. It's all fun.

Fairy on Mushroom - IAS #71
Good morning and Happy Sunday from a chilly H Town. Yes, I know some of you are freezing and have snow, but I could see my breath when I went out to feed the outside kitties, birds, and squirrels this morning. This is not what I signed up for when I came south from PA. Oh well, it is supposed to warm up some today before another freezing Arctic Blast hits us later this week.
Today I have a card that I made for the International Art & Soul challenge this fortnight. The theme was UK Myths and Legends. I love fairies so that's what I used for my card.

Magical Day
Wow! Happy Sunday. I can't believe it's been a over a month since I've posted. It's been a really busy time. School has been crazy and I've had to spend a lot of time reading and writing. Also, doing some work for a genealogy client. So much to do and so little time.
In October, I was the hostess for our monthly swap - Creative Card Chicks on Splitcoast Stampers. It was my turn to send out a card kit to the rest of the group. This is just one of the images that I sent and I used items from the kit for my card.

Heartfelt Blooms - CYS
Good morning again. Happy Sunday.
I have another card to share with your today. I'm late getting it posted since it was supposed to be done yesterday. Oh well, you know how crazy the days can get sometimes. This one is for the SCS Challenge Your Stash group. Each month the hostess picks a theme and everyone makes a card using only items in their stash to make a card for the theme. This month is was Suzy's (SuzyS1104) turn to be the hostess and she chose "Get Well, Hope You Are Better, Thinking of You" as some ideas to use for our cards.
I must say it looks better in real life. The clip is just to hold it closed while I took a picture. I used the Stampin Up Heartfelt Blooms for the image and sentiment. I believe the ink and cardstock I used as More Mustard. For some reason I did not write down the things I used. I believe the designer paper is also from Stampin Up. I'll have to check that out.

Santa Paws - IAS #68 (Tags)
Hello my friends, and Happy Sunday. I hope you've had a good week.
It's been a nondescript week, but I have been working on some Christmas projects - some for gifts and trying to get more cards done. This is one of the cards I finished for the challenge over on International Art & Soul. I think it's so cute. Our theme for this fortnight is Tags. As you can see, I just added my tag to this cute card.

Little Furballs - Creative Card Chicks
Hi my friends. Happy Autumn. Well, it might be Autumn in other parts of the United States, but here in H Town summer is still hanging on. I hope none of you were affected by Tropical Storm Imelda. There was lots of flooding in and around H Town and a couple of my friends had water in their house. Luckily, my house is high off the street and ground so it stays dry.
Classes also got underway last Monday. I have two classes that I'm taking -- American Foundations (American History) and Research Methodology, Part 1. Last week was not bad - Introduction, but they are both gearing up already and I'll be having lots of work to do.
Today is the last day that we are supposed to be posting our September cards for the Creative Card Chicks swap. This month we didn't have a hostess as we usually do to send us a kit. Instead we got a theme given to us and then we had to create a card using that theme. For this one, we had a sketch to use.
Here is the card I created for the sketch.
This was an easy one since I didn't do any coloring on it at all. The stamp set I used was Stampin Up You Little Furball. I stamped them each with a different color - Chocolate Chip, Real Rust, and Basic Black. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I used SU Chocolate Chip for the base of the card and Real Rust for the mats. I just used a circle punch to punch the images out and popped them up with a Stampin Dimensional on the Real Rust mat. The designer paper is Authentique - Thankful collection and I finished it off with some gold bling. Easy, peasy this time. Hopefully, I'll have time to share a few more cards I've been working on. Not as much time now that classes have resumed. Have a great week and see you soon.
I am submitting this for the following challenges:
Show Us Your Pussycats - Furrything Goes
Crafty Sentiments Designs - Anything Goes
Lemon Shortbread - Anything Goes
Tuesday Throwdown - Anything Goes
Always Fun Challenge - Cute Critters
Cute N Crafty Challenge - Anything Goes
Get Creative Challenge - Anything Goes - No Twist
The Paper Girls - Anything Goes

Sparkle All the Way
Hello again, my friends. Happy Monday. This is my first day back to school for Fall Semester. So far, so good. There is a lot to learn. One class is American Foundations which is American History. I had to take a Pretest and there is a lot I do NOT know about that subject.
Over the summer break I have been working on Christmas cards and this is one that I have ready for my blog. I hope to get the rest posted soon. This image is one that I got a couple years ago when Stitchy Stamps was still in business. In fact, I have used it before on a card, but I really like it.
The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley - Swirly Festive Greetings. Card stock is Stampin Up Real Red, and the designer paper is some I've had for ages from Papertrey Ink called Sugar Plum.
I used Copic markers to color and added some Stickles to her wings and white puff paint to her Santa cap.

Plant Love IAS #67
Hello my friends. Happy Sunday. I thought I was going to get back on here and share more of my Christmas cards I've been making, but this week has been really busy with one thing right after another.
I had the honor and blessing of taking part in a Family History presentation today. I was teaching the basics of using FamilySearch.org. My second love is Genealogy, which is why I'm going to school. Taking classes. If you are in to genealogy and have not tried FamilySearch.org to keep track of your family and do research, then I invite you to do so. It's free!
Today I have a card that I made months ago from a card kit I received back in January from Sue (dani_fournier) for the Card Shower Kit Challenge. I loved it with all the butterflies on it. I just never had an occasion to post it, but this month was the perfect time. This is for the challenge over at International Art & Soul where the theme is Anything Goes with Things With Wings. Got it!
The image is from Unity Stamps. I think that the sentiment is from a Power Poppy stamp set. I used Stampin Up Pale Plum for the base card and the mats. The designer paper is Stampin Up butterflies. The Copic markers I used were B000 B00; E23, E25, E27; E50, E51, E53; G21, G24; R14, R17; T6, T8; V01, V04; Y18, Y19; W0, W2.
That's all for tonight. Stop on by and see what the rest of the Design Team has for your inspiration. While you're there, you may as well post a card to the challenge. You might be picked as the winner or one of the Top 3. It could happen. See you next time.
I am submitting this card for the following challenges:
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes
The Corrosive Challenge - Anything Goes
A Gem of a Challenge - Anything Goes

Tasty Treats
Hello my friends. You'll probably be seeing a lot of me coming up in the next week. I have been catching up on the DD Christmas Challenge and I have quite a few that I've made that I haven't posted yet. My card today comes from a Card Shower Kit that I received back in January from Barb. I've been waiting for the perfect time to post the card and then I got way behind on my Christmas cards what with school and life. This one is for the March challenge which was stripes, staffs, or candy canes. Two out of three isn't bad. LOL.
This card is from a kit I received from Barb. Lots of fun embellishments. Thanks Barb for a fun kit.

Garden Girl Poppy - IAS #66
Hello my friends and Happy Sunday. First day of September. I hope you are having a good Labor Day weekend and that if you are in the path of Hurricane Dorian that you stay safe and protected. I have friends and family in Florida and praying for them and everyone that may be affected.
I am still getting used to this "retirement." It seems so odd to be home all day. I am still keeping busy with lots to do around the house and in my craft room. School will start up again in two weeks and that will start to fill a lot of my time also.
This card I have for this International Art & Soul challenge is from a kit I bought some time ago from Heather's Hobbie Haven and finally had time to ink it up. Our theme this fortnight is Anything Goes with Layer It Up. A lovely easy challenge with so many ways to include as many layers as you like with layers of designer paper, embossed folders, die cuts, flowers or other embellishments on your creations - the list is so long; we just know this challenge will get your creative juices flowing.

Peace - CYS August
Hello friends. I hope you are having an awesome Wednesday. I don't know about you, but since I have been home not working, the days just fly by. There is always so much to do and only a little gets accomplished each day.
Today is the 28th of the month and the day when we do a reveal of the card we made for the Challenge Your Stash challenge. Each month the hostess gives us a theme and everyone creates their card from their own stash. You are not allowed to use anything new or buy something to use for your card. The theme for this month was given to us by Kelly (MiamiKel4 on SCS) and it was to use a stencil on your card. I looked through my stash and didn't find anything at first, but then found one that had a lot of words on it. I saw the word PEACE and thought it would go great with this stamp set.
Materials Used:
I am submitting this for the following challenges:
Christmas at Sweet Stampin' - Anything Goes with Christmas
Cute N' Crafty Christmas - Anything Christmas/Winter goes
Watercooler Wednesday - All About Occasions
The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge - Anything Christmas Goes

Flowers - IAS # 65
Hello my friends and happy Sunday! It's been two weeks since I became unemployed. It's still a little strange not to have to get up early and get off to work. Then, today I had to go to the Post Office to mail off a letter. I'm not used to doing that; I always posted things at the office. It's been good though. I have been getting a lot of things done around the house - organizing, trashing old papers that I don't need anymore. Years ago for my family history research I would print off copies of census records of family members, but now that I can access them online anytime, I don't need to keep an actual copy of it. More time also now for what I love - card making!
Today I have a card to share with you for the International Art & Soul challenge for this fortnight. This was my idea for a theme - flowers. I love flowers and love working with them. This Power Poppy image was perfect for it because it combined my two loves - flowers and butterflies.

By the Sea - Challenge Your Stash
Hello again. I'm here again already. So, I have two more days of work until I'm officially RETIRED! I can't believe it's really happening. Well, it wasn't really my decision. Our firm was acquired by a rather large law firm who decided to cut costs and eliminate my job and have our paralegal be the paralegal/secretary. Once our firm was sold, there was nothing my boss could do about it, so I am out! I'm not sure whether to smile and be happy or be sad. I've been saying for a long time that I have so many things to do and not enough time to do them. Well, now I'll have time. There is still school and now I'll also have more time for playing with my crafts.
I made this card for the Challenge Your Stash swap on SCS. Each month the hostess chooses a theme and we all make our own card to go with the theme, but we are only allowed to use items in our stash that we already have - no going out to buy something new. I tell you, I could sell out of my craft room; I have so much stuff. Our hostess this month was Pansy and her theme was Summer Water Fun. Wouldn't you love to be at the beach.
This one was pretty simple. I have looked all through my digital stamp images on my computer and could not find where I got this one. Strange. I didn't do too much too it. Just added a sentiment from a Power Poppy set called Good Thinking and some bling from my stash.
The Copic markers I used were: B0000, B000; E30, E31, E33, 340, E41, E43, E44; E47; E50, E51, E55; G14, G20, G21, G24; R30.
That's it for now. I hope to see you again soon.

Spring Chicken - CCC
Hi my friends. Well, I am very late getting this posted, in fact, over a week late. Sorry. Last week was the finals week for this third semester of school. I had two projects that were due and we only had until Thursday to finish up instead of Saturday. Crunch time. I did okay, walking away with an A in both classes.
Enough about that. Here is my card for this month's Creative Card Chicks Monthly Challenge. Our hostess for July was Debby. She sent us this fun kit. I can always tell her kits because they always have something to do with nature or animals.
This image is so cute from Art Impressions called Spring Chicken. The paper comes from Hobby Lobby. She used a chicken wire stamp on a kraft paper. The string and button are from her stash. Always good to use up stash items.
Sorry, but I forgot to write down what Copic markers I used. I always write them in my book. I must have thought I had already done it and put them away. I know there were a lot from the E family.
Have a lovely week. I'll have another card real soon.

A Sunny Hello - Challenge Your Stash
Hi again. It's past time also for posting this card, but as I posted earlier, I've been out of town and doing school work these past two weeks, so I haven't had time to do a blog post.
The month of June was my turn to be hostess for Challenge Your Stash on Splitcoast Stampers. We each post a theme and the others in the group make a card using that theme. My theme was something with Sunshine and Yellow! That made me think of summer.
All the items including the image are from my stash. When I print off an image, I usually print off at least two of them in case something happens and I mess up the first one. I found this one in my stash of extras. I tried looking on my computer to see where it was from, but I couldn't find it among my digital stamps. I also didn't want to take the time to go through eight years of blog posts to see if I could find it.
The Sunshine and Sentiment are from a retired Stampin Up set called Simply Summer. The charms are also from my stash. I didn't write down the name of the designer paper I used, but the cardstock is Stampin Up Bordering Blue. It's really hard to see, but I used some light color embossing powder on the sand to give it some texture.
The Copic markers I used were; B0000, B00, B12; E00, E01, E02, E11; E20, 321, E23, E30, E39; R30; Y15, Y18; YR02, YR04, 0, W2.
That's it for this month. I need to go check out the theme for July.

Big Birthday Wishes - CCC
Hi my friends. It's been a while since my last post. Hope ou had a fun 4th of July.
I was gone for a week in Pittsburgh attending the Genealogical Institute there. It was great. I hope I learned a lot from the course I took. After I left Pittsburgh a week ago Friday, I fly to Atlanta where I met my youngest daughter and we visited with my younger brother and sister-in-law for the weekend. I had not seen him in about ten years, even longer for my daughter. It was a great time.
This past week I've been catching up on school work. A lot of writing to be done, but got everything submitted late last night. Only three weeks left in this semester! Yay!
So in between all the hectic comings and goings and school work, I did manage to get a couple cards made. This is the first one for Creative Card Chicks, our Monthly Challenge group on Splitcoast Stampers. Suzy (SuzyS1104) was our hostess for the month of June and she sent us a great kit to use.

Sunflower Scene - IAS #58
Good morning. Happy Mother's Day to all you lovely ladies. You don't have to have children to be a mother. You could be an aunt, a good friend, a teacher, a fur baby mom. We are all moms in some way. We all touch the lives of other people hopefully for the good. Being a woman is a blessing. I will be spending some time with my youngest daughter and her family later today.
Right now I have a card to share with you. This is from another kit I received from the Card Shower Swap group that I got in January. I received this one from Heather (JadeOnline). The theme for the challenge on International Art & Soul this fortnight is Ecology/Conservation. I thought the farm theme and sunflowers were perfect for this. I think the card could be used for just about any occasion.

Have Fun on Your Break! CYS April
Hello again on this beautiful Sunday. I do have another card to share with you today. This one is for the Challenge Your Stash group on SCS. Each month the hostess gives us a theme and we each create our own card to follow that theme. We are only to use things that are in our stash and not go out and buy anything new. For April our hostess is Jen (Jennifrann on SCS) and she wanted us to use "orange and buttons." I was lucky again because I got this cute kit from Lori back in January in the Card Shower group on SCS.
I wastn't sure at first what I would do with this card since all my grands are done with school for now. Yes, three graduations from college this year!!! But my youngest daughter is in college the same as me, so I thought I'd save it and send it to her when Summer Break comes up in July.

Happy Birthday - IAS #57
Good morning and Happy Sunday! It's a beautiful day in H Town. Sorry about those of you that are having snow. My butterflies are doing well. I have five in my hutch that are ready to emerge and have already released six that were outside the hutch. Everyday I find a few more lurking in the garden and I transplant them into the hutch for safety. I have not see any wasps around yet, but have been plagues with slugs so I'm looking for ways to rid the garden of those pests.
Today I have a card I made back last year that I have never blogged and it was perfect for the International Art and Soul challenge for this fortnight for Birthdays!

With Sympathy - Creative Card Chicks
Hello my friends. Happy Easter. I hope you are all enjoying your day. It was a beautiful one here. Couldn't have asked for it to be any better. After attending church, spent time with my extended family. Always love getting together with them. I didn't think I ate too much, but I'm still feeling full. My sis made a mincemeat pie which I could not pass up!
I do have a card to share with you today. This is for the SCS Creative Card Chicks Monthly Challenge. Our hostess this month was ScrappinCEO. She sent us a kit with this pretty flower image. I love flowers. And she sent a butterfly. You kow I love butterflies too almost as much as I love flowers. BTW, so far I have had 4 Monarch butterflies emerge from their chrysalis. I have my new hutch up and have at least a dozen chrysalises in there.
This image came from Cardmaking & Papercrafting issue #168 designed by Jenny Ellory. The paper is Stampin Up Share What You Love. I used SU Real Rust for the base of the card and the embossed strip is SU Pear Pizzazz. The butterfly is punched using a Martha Stewart punch.
Here is the inside of my card. The sentiment is from the Cardmaking & Papercrafting #165 and the enamel dot is from Recollections.
The Copic markers I used were E02, E04, E07; G21, G24; R22, R24, R27; T10; Y08, Y15, AND Y18.
That's all for today. Have a great week.

Easter Egg Tree - IAS #56
Good morning and Happy Sunday. We have been having some beautiful weather. I was actually able to work outside yesterday digging up clover from my flower beds so I could get Spring planting done. It took most of the day with time outs to east the knees and back.. I was going to have the lawn guy do it, but decided I didn't want to wait; I'd rather have him come and do the planting which he will do on Tuesday. Not to be fooled, our temps are down in the high 40's this morning!!! Feels like 44*.
The days are flying by. I'm just a little late getting my post up for International Art & Soul this fortnight. Thank you to Hazel for reminding me. For my card, I used another Card Shower kit that I received back in January from our Hostess Heather. It was a fun kit. I did put on it Happy Spring since I had just made an Easter card. Hopefully it will feel like Spring next Sunday when it is Easter.

Happy Easter - Challenge Your Stash/Card Shower
Hi my friends. Happy Sunday. I hope all is well where you are. We had predicted severe thunderstorms this weekend. Wellllllll. . . we did have a thunderstorm this afternoon with lots of rain, but no way near severe. It may have hit somewhere else in the viewing area, but glad it wasn't here. I was able to get everything done that I needed to do - including finishing up my school semester!!!!!! Yeah!!!!! Finished up my final exam yesterday afternoon. So far I have an A in both classes. Now a two week break before the start of semester 3.
Today I have a card with a two-fold purpose. First of all, I made this for the SCS Challenge Your Stash challenge. This month the hostess is Barbara (bejoyce). Our challenge was to make a card with a bunny on it or any animal if we didn't have a bunny.
I belong to another SCS swap group - Card Shower Challenge. Each month there is one hostess who is the recipient of card kits from the rest of the group. I was the recipient in January and this is one of the kits that I got from Angie. The image is from Penny Black, sentiment from Stampa Rosa. The butterflies are from Jesse James and ribbons from her stash. The designer paper is My Mind's eye Memorable collection. I used Copic Markers for coloring - G21, R01, R81, R83, R85; T10; W0, W2, Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17, Y18.

Tea Time - Monthly Challenge
Hello, I'm back again with my second card for the day. This is one I made for the SCS Monthly Challenge Creative Card Chicks swap. Each month the hostess sends out card kits to all the other members and we make a card from what she sends. This month the hostess was Roxie (morgainegeiser). I chose to use a beautiful die she sent of the teapot with flowers on it. It is a little busy, but I thought to interrupt all the flowers with a dark outline of the teapot with the Night of Navy cardstock she included.
The image and sentiment are from Tea Together cut with Tea Time Framelits die. The pattern paper is Share What You Love and the cardstock is Night of Navy. I did pull out a small doily to use behind the die to also break up all the flowers. That's all for today. I have one more card, but I think it will wait until tomorrow.

Frog Princess - IAS #55
Hello my friends. Happy Sunday. I hope the weather is good where you are. We are experiencing late winter temps. A shock to wake up to temps in the 40's when it's been high 70's lately. I'm about done with Winter.
I have a few cards to share with you. This is No. 1. This is made for International Art & Soul. Our theme this fortnight is CAS With Blue. Once I decided on the image to use, it didn't take long to put this together. It is from a kit I received in a swap that I take part in - the Card Shower Swap on SCS. Each month one of the members is the Hostess and everyone else sends a kit to her. I was lucky to be the first Hostess this year and received many great swap kits. This care is made with one that I received from Michelle (ticketbelle).
Image - Your Next Stamp - Little Darling Frog Princess
Ink - Gina K - Amalgam Ink
Designer Paper - Kathy Davis
Accessories - Die, SU Label Punch; sequins, Arteza gold gel pen, pearls
Copic Markers - B12, B16; E50, E51, E53; R21, R22; Y11, Y21, Y23
That's it. I hope you'll hop on over to the IAS blog and join in the fun. Easy, peasy. You could be the winner or one of the Top 3.

Rainboots and Blossoms - Card Shower
Good morning my friends and Happy St. Patrick's Day! Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day. I hope you enjoy your day.
This was a fun card to make. After I picked my colors, it just all seemed to come together so well. First, this is for the International Art & Soul challenge. Our theme this fortnight is Green + 2 Colors. The two colors I chose to use are yellow and pink.
Let me just say that I love, love, love Heartfelt Creations. I have attended two conventions the last two years here in H Town just to attend their classes. They are all about flowers and I love flowers - either real ones or using them on my cards. So, I was very delighted when I got this card kit in January from Ruby (rawilkes on SCS) for the Card Shower Kit swap. It is so fun. Each month the hostess is the one who gets showered with card kits from the other members. I'm still working on the kits that I received and trying to use them in challenges or for my DT. Ruby sent me the rainboot and flowers already cut out. I cut a little slit in the top of the boot and slipped two of the flower stems inside. The papers she sent were perfect from Carta Bella Spring Market. I added the pink doily behind the rainboot to carry on the color scheme. I used a retired cardstock from Stampin Up called Mint Macaroon. The images were colored with Copic Markers - G21, G24; R81, R83, Y15, and Y19.
That's it for today. I hope you will check out the IAS blog challenge and see what the rest of the Design Team has created to inspire you and play along with us. You could be the winner or picked as one of the Top 3.

Simply Betty - IAS #53
Hello my friends, and happy Sunday! It's March - in like a lion; out like a lamb. We're supposed to be getting nasty, cold weather again. Yesterday was so nice, even saw the sun for awhile and I got to use my new A/C for the first time. The last two weeks have really gotten away from m and I didn't realize that it was already time to post another card for International Art & Soul. I was late getting it posted on the design team blog.
This fortnight our theme is Sequins and/or Beads. use as little or as much as you like. I went for a few beads on my card.
This is a stamp I got a long time ago from Simply Betty Stamps. I don't see it on the website anymore which isn't surprising since it is so old. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley - Sketchy Wishes. The cardstock is from Stampin Up - Sahara Sand and the designer paper from Basic Gray, Hello Pastel collection. I love BG paper and was so sad when they stopped making their paper. My accessories are just a few beads popped up in the left corner.
I colored the image using Copic markers - E29, E40, E41, E42, E44, E49; E50, E51, E53, E59, R81, R83, and R85.
I liked the way I could just pop the image in the middle of the designer paper.
I hope you will come on over and play with us for this challenge. It's easy, peasy. Come check out what the rest of the design team has created for your inspiration and play along. You could be picked as the winner or one of the Top 3.

Spilling Over - March Stash
Hello my friends. I hope you are having a great day and the weather isn't being too mean to you. I don't know what Phil was thinking when he said we would have an early Spring. Clearly, he wasn't thinking straight.
Today I have my card for the March Challenge Your Stash challenge. Each month one of the members posts a challenge theme for us. This month our hostess was Shelly (mcschmidty on SCS). Her challenge was for us to make a card and use a heart and the word LOVE on it.
I am in another group on SCS that swaps card kits (Card Shower). Each month one member is the recipient and all the other members send her a card kit with images and lots of goodies to make at least one card. I was the lucky one to be the recipient in January and got a ton of card kits in the mail. This is one of them that I got from Arlene Lacy (arlene_C on SCS).

Stay Warm and Feel Cozy - CCC
Hello my friends. I hope you are having a great day. Not sure how to classify mine. I'm home from work today - not sick. I'm having a new A/C & furnace installed. My old one is 20 years old! How time flies. At least I can get some things done around the house while I'm here.
Today I have a card from the Creative Card Chicks on SCS. It's a group where each month one of us is hostess and sends a card kit out to the others in the group. This month it was Barb's turn and she sent us a fun Winter kit. Thanks for the fun kit Barb.
Barb sent this cute Unity stamp - Stay Warm & Feel Cozy stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black stamped on Recollections 110# cardstock. I used Stampin Up Real Red for the card base and mats. The paper is from Echo Park - A Perfect Winter - Welcome Winter/Snowy Stripes. I added a Memory Box - Frosty Border die. I also used some Frantage Chunky White Embossing Powder from Stampendous to mimic snowflakes.
The image was colored with Copic Markers - B000; E44, E47, E49; R46, R56, R59, T10.
Thanks for stopping by.

Simply Classic - IAS #52
Good morning my friends and happy Sunday. I hope the weather is being kind to you. It's chilly and dreary here today. At least there is no snow. This will be a quick post.
My card today is for the International Art & Soul challenge which is Shades of Any Color which was chosen by Jennie on the Design Team.
I am always looking for masculine cards and thought this would be a great one for my stash.

Thanks from my Stash - CYS
Hello friends and happy Monday! It was a good day for me because my boss was gone most of the day and just got to the office 1/2 hour before I got to leave. Hehehehe! That gave me time to work on my school work.
I made this card for the SCS Challenge Your Stash Group. Each month one of the members picks a theme and we all make a card from our own stash. We can't use anything new so we use up stuff we have been hoarding. Haha! I have a lot of that. This month our hostess was Sue (stampinspooky on SCS). Her challenge was to make a Thank You card and to use embossing.
I've had this card done for awhile. I made four of them to put in my stash for when I need one. They were really easy and I'd like to make some in different colors.

Merry Patterns DDCC
Good morning. Happy Sunday. It's still cold here in H Town, but the sun is shining so hopefully it will turn out to be a nice day. More cold is on the way though later this week. I know there are those of you who have much colder weather, but I think it's all in the perspective. If we expect it to be 70 and it's 30, then that's really cold for us.
I'm also battling the crud that I've had since Christmas. Doesn't seem like anything will make it lose it's grip on me. Luckily, I've been able to keep up with my schoolwork and my office work.
I've had this card ready for some time, just haven't had the energy to get it posted and uploaded. It was so easy and I ended up making four of them.
How are you doing on getting your Christmas cards done? I hope to keep up this year with these monthly challenges from the Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge. I love sending hand made Christmas cards to my family and friends.
