Hello, I'm back again with my second card for the day. This is one I made for the SCS Monthly Challenge Creative Card Chicks swap. Each month the hostess sends out card kits to all the other members and we make a card from what she sends. This month the hostess was Roxie (morgainegeiser). I chose to use a beautiful die she sent of the teapot with flowers on it. It is a little busy, but I thought to interrupt all the flowers with a dark outline of the teapot with the Night of Navy cardstock she included.
The image and sentiment are from Tea Together cut with Tea Time Framelits die. The pattern paper is Share What You Love and the cardstock is Night of Navy. I did pull out a small doily to use behind the die to also break up all the flowers. That's all for today. I have one more card, but I think it will wait until tomorrow.
Maggie, your teapot card is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, creating a mat for the tea pot! Never thought of that. Appears as if it is on a table with a wallpaper background. Nice!
ReplyDeleteThe navy blue makes a perfect shadow for the cute teapot and it does stand out from the background. I like the flowered paper. Nice job with this fun challenge, Maggie!
