Sunflower Scene - IAS #58

Good morning. Happy Mother's Day to all you lovely ladies. You don't have to have children to be a mother. You could be an aunt, a good friend, a teacher, a fur baby mom. We are all moms in some way. We all touch the lives of other people hopefully for the good. Being a woman is a blessing. I will be spending some time with my youngest daughter and her family later today.

Right now I have a card to share with you. This is from another kit I received from the Card Shower Swap group that I got in January. I received this one from Heather (JadeOnline). The theme for the challenge on International Art & Soul this fortnight is Ecology/Conservation. I thought the farm theme and sunflowers were perfect for this. I think the card could be used for just about any occasion.

Materials Used:
  • Image - Stampendous - Sunflower Scene
  • Sentiment - Sunflower Scene
  • Cardstock - Stampin Up - Hello Honey; Staples 110#
  • Designer Paper - Stampin Up - English Garden
  • Accessories - Prima Flowers and brads from my stash
  • Copic Markers - B0000, B000; E13, E17, E18; G21, G24, G28; Y13, Y15, Y18; YG61, YG63, YG67; T5, T6, T7
That's it for now. I hope you will come visit IAS and see what the rest of the Design Team has for your inspiration. They are truly amazing. Come join in the fun. You could be picked as the Winner or one of the Top 3.

  1. OH wow this is beautiful and I want to go play in that sunflower field. Thank you so much for embracing my challenge theme, I know I get carried away and don't really think through how it will be carried out by everyone else so for that I apologise.

  5. Oh, gosh, I love this stamp and you colored it so cheerfully and turned it into a beautiful, happy card! I hope your Mother's Day turned out just wonderful. It was quiet here and I played in my room. Just the way I like it! We spent a couple of days at a lake resort in our motor home, so I consider that my Mother's Day treat.
