Mayzy Girl With Owl - CYS

Hi my friends. I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas. Christmas day was good with my family and some extended family members celebrating together. Too bad that I started getting sick that day and have been home from work since then. Still not feeling the best, but hope that it will go away before time to go back to work on Monday. I can't believe that in only a few days, it will be 2019.

Today I have a card that I did for the Challenge Your Stash challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. Each month one of the members posts a theme for us to follow and then everyone makes a card for that theme. The theme for December was posted by Jody aka cardsbyjo. We were to use an owl on our card somewhere and all the things that we use must be from our stash including the image and sentment.  I found this digital stamp by Mayzy that I've had in my collection for ages and never used. I thought it was cute and perfect for the challenge.

Little Chickadee Marci - IAS

Hello again my friends. Happy Sunday.  It's a chilly one here today. I moved to Texas thinking it was going to be nice and warm and pleasant all the time, but not so! It does get cold down here. All that Arctic air comes sweeping down the plains right to Texas!

Today I have a card I did for International Art & Soul. They are so good about not pushing me to get a card made for every challenge. I'm just so happy when I can break free of school work long enough to get one done. This is actually a kit I bought from Heather's Hobbie Haven awhile back and just now having the chance to put it together. The kit actually included all of the pieces that I needed. The theme for this challenge was to Add Some Sparkle. This is a shaker card so there are sequins and stars that sparkle in the shaker and I also added some sparkle to the trees and lamp post.

Supplies:
  • Image - La-La Land Crafts - Little Chickadee Marci
  • Sentiment - same
  • Cardstock - Marshmallow; kraft; Neenah Solar White 80#
  • Designer Paper - Simple Stories - Blizzard, Snow Cute, Silver White Winter, Wonderland
  • Accessories - mixed sequins and glitter; La-La Land Crafts Dies: Double Stitched Circles, Three Christmas Trees, and Lamp Post
  • Copic Markers: E000, E00, E11, E15, E17, E19, E21, E23, E25, E27, E29, E39, E47, E59; R05, R17, R20, R29, R30, R32, R35, R39, R89; W6, W8, YG93, YG95, YG97, YG99.
That's it for today. Come on by and check out what the rest of the team has created to inspire you to add some sparkle to your life!

Birthday Brian - Creatalicious Final

My last post for the day and a sad one. This is my last post for the Creatalicious Design Team. I've really enjoyed working with Melanie and being a part of this great group. I just felt that I was not giving the group the attention that it deserves with all the time I am needing for school work. Someday maybe I'll get the chance to be on the Team again.

The them for this challenge is Anything Goes + optional use a stencil (which I didn't do).

Materials Used:

  • Image - Dr. Digi - Baking Brian
  • Sentiment - Stampin Up - Party Parts
  • Cardstock - Stampin Up - Cool Caribbean
  • Designer Paper - Crate Paper - Confetti Collection
  • Accessories - Recollections flower; round punches; ribbon from my stash; border punch
  • Copic Markers - BG10, BG11, BG15; E000, E01, E31, E34, E37, E43, E44, E50, E51, E53; W0, W3, W5, W8; Y18, Wink of Stella - silver; silver gel pen
I hope that you will pop on over to the Creatalicious Challenge blog and see what the rest of the Team has created for your inspiration. There is a design team call for three new members so if you love to create, give it a go. They are a great group.

Grateful - CCC Monthly Challenge

Hi again. I'm here again today with another new card to share. I did say I was catching up. It's a good day to be in the house. Days like this I would like to be a polar bear so I could just hibernate until it got warm again. At least I'm only a little late for this card. This one was done for the Creative Card Chicks Monthly Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. Each month the hostess sends all the other members a kit with images, sentiments, designer papers and/or embellishments to go with it and we all make a card or two or three - however many you can or care to do that month. I'm usually lucky to get one done.  For November, our hostess was Suzy and she sent all this and more for our cards. I chose to make it an Autumn theme with the falling leaves.

The stamp set and image are from Always Thankful stamped on Recollections #110. The designer paper is Peach Brush Strokes and brown burlap ribbon.

Copic Markers: E0000; E31, E34, E35, E93, E99; G21; Y11, Y18, Y19; YR00, YR01, YR04; W1, W3, W5, W7

That's it for this one. Hope you have a great day!

Happay Haunting - CYS - October

I can't believe how far behind I am on getting my cards posted. School work has completely taken over my life. It's been hard and busy every minute. I have craft supplies in boxes I haven't even opened yet and trying to get a grip on getting my Christmas cards done. Thank goodness for grocery delivery service. For now, catching up on cards that I made but never got posted.

This card required minimum stamping at all. I just stamped the gaiters. Then just use the die cuts to cut out the pieces and then put them together. This is a set from Stamplistic. I've had this for awhile but hadn't had the time to play with it. I got the stamp set, single die for the whole thing, and then individual dies for each part. It has a lot of versatility. You can use for Halloween or use to make an elf for Christmas.

This card for for the Challenge Your Stash group I belong to on Splitcoast Stampers. Each month one of the group chooses a theme and everyone makes a card for that theme. Suzy was our hostess in October and her theme was - well - Halloween of course! This was supposed to be posted back in October, but life got in the way.

Papers, cardstock, bling, stickers - all from my stash.
