Heartfelt Butterfly Birthday

 Good morning my friends. I hope you are all doing well. The heat continues to make us sizzle down here in H Town, but after a brief heavy shower yesterday, it has cooled off a little bit. It's only 87* right now instead of 95*. I was glad to see even that little bit of rain. 

I have a card to share with you today that I made for the SCS Challenge Your Stash group. Every month we have a hostess who chooses a theme for us to use when making our card. Then we all make a card and post it on the challenge thread on the 28th of the month. This month of June, Tracie (taclary) was our hostess and she picked the theme ~~Flowers are blooming, butterflies are everywhere so lets see a butterfly on your card.

This was not too hard for me. I love butterflies and had this great kit in my stash to use. It's from Heartfelt Creations and has flowers, butterflies, and the dies to go with them along with some beautiful papers. I must confess that I did scan the HC gallery and found this beautiful card. I did make a little change to it. The great part was that there was no stamping or coloring involved, so it came together very easily.

 I also love slimline cards. They are fun to make and easy to mail. This card was made using the Floral Butterfly collection and the original was created by Susan Smit. I used the yellow and purple/blue flowers. The sentiment is from a retired Stampin Up stamp set (Vintage Labels). I used a scrap of SU Wisteria Wonder for the mat. I added the little butterfly up in the left-hand corner.

Oldies Birthday

 Good morning my friends. I hope you are all doing well. It has been so hot and dry here in H Town. We are in the middle of a drought. I've had to start using the sprinklers on the lawn and flower beds so it all doesn't dry up and blow away. Today I have more cards from my Birthday Card Kits. I have two cards today from Carol. So much fun with these and she generously sent me the stamp sets so I'll be able to make a bunch more cards from these stamps.

 Hello my friends. Another card to share with you today. This is for a new challenge that I just found and hope that I can take part more often now. It's for Misti Monday. Do you know what a Misti is? I couldn't work without mine. The idea for this challenge was to make the sentiment the focal point of the card front.

 Hello, my friends. Happy Wednesday. Finally I've come to the last card kit I received from Barb of the Card Kit swap group. Barb is our leaders and keeps us all organized. I received lots of images and fun embellishments to play with and I'll be making more cards with what I have leftover so far.

 Hi everyone. I am on a roll these days. Here I am again with another card to share with you. This one is for the SCS Creative Card Chicks Monthly Challenge Swap. Think Peaceful Thoughts

 Hello, my friends Happy Sunday. I hope you are all doing well. I went and got my 2nd COVID booster yesterday afternoon. No problems, just a sore arm. It took four hours for it to get sore after the injection. The pharmacist was great. It was just a really quick stab and done. I will be wearing a mask to church tomorrow though. We have a number of members who have come down with COVID and I don't want to take any chances. I may not stay for Sunday School though. I also have a really good friend that got it. She called me the other day to chat and told me she was over it but her husband now has it. Is it ever going to end????????

Of course, mine had to be a kitty. Doesn't he look like he's thinking peaceful thoughts, hoping his master won't get angry at him.
