Hello my friends from a very cold H Town. I am really ready for this cold weather to be over. I really, really do not like the cold. I have been keeping busy though with making mini albums and creating some cards. Today I have a card to share for the February Creative Card Chicks challenge. This month our hostess was Roxie (morgainegeiser on SCS). She sent us a cute little Unity stamp and sentiment to use as well as some designer paper. We were to use our own supplies to create our card.
I thought the image was so cute. The image and sentiment are from "Flock" from Unity Stamps as well as the designer paper (Barnyard Bouquet). I thought the paper went really well with the image. I used Stampin Up Crushed Curry for my mat and base card. I cut two strips of the gingham and one strip of the roosters. I used a circle punch for my image and then used my Copic markers to color it in. I just got some little brushed gold embellishments from Stampin Up so I stuck a little dragonfly on the image just for fun. Thanks Roxie for the cute stamp.
What a sweet image and so beautifully coloured and used Maggie. A fabulous card!

Ack, this is so cute! I've looked at those Unity birds, but haven't seen this paper. If I was buying... but I need to rein it in at least somewhat. I do really love everything about this card! I hope your weather turns warmer for you soon. I think we're all ready for spring!
