Hello friends. Well, for once in a very long time I'm on time with my post for the Creative Card Chicks Monthly Challenge. The Chicks are a group of ladies who have a monthly challenge. We have a new hostess every month who sends us all a card kit with images, sentiments, designer paper, and various embellishments and then we all get to make a card or more. Our posting dates are between the 21st and 23rd of each month.
This month our hostess was Sue (stampinspooky). I was thrilled to get her kit because it contained flowers! I love working with all kinds of flowers and this one lent itself to some fun shading.
Materials Used:
- Image - Stampin Up Birthday Blooms
- Sentiment - Stampin Up Birthday Blooms
- Cardstock - Stampin Up Melon Mamba
- Designer Paper - Stampin Up Pop of Pink
- Ink - SU Melon Mamba
- Accessories - Sequins, twine, SU oval scallop punch
- Copic Markers - C7; RV52, RV55, RV63; YG11, YG23, YG35, YG97
I'm glad to get back into the swing of card making and hope that I'll be able to keep up now that school has started. This first week has been pretty easy, but I don't expect that will continue to be the case. See you soon!
Maggie, your card is so pretty! Lovely coloring!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! You know I love it. Glad to see someone else is still stamping flowers. You know, I think I did more stamping when I was working. Being on a schedule put everything in its time slot, but now it's all willy nilly.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I love the floral image- and your coloring is just beautiful!!!
