May starts another year of the Monthly Challenge Group over on Splitcoast Stampers. It was Suzy's turn to send out the challenge envelope and she sent us a bunch of great goodies. I'm sure I'll be able to get a few more cards using them, but this first one had limits to it. We were supposed to make a card using ONLY the things that were sent. Very hard for me because I always want to add flowers and stuff.
I was allowed to add my cardstock of course which is from Stampin Up.
Materials:
- Tea cup - Stampin Up - Tea Shoppe; embossed with Pink Zing embossing powder.
- Sentiment - Stampin Up - Tea Shoppe
- Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa
- Tan embossed cardstock - Paper Studio - not sure about the EF.
- Designer Paper - Paper Studio - Mirabelle Floral
- Pink Lace - Recollections
Maggie, it's lovely - flowers or not! So pretty with the beautiful DP and cute teacup!

Good Morning to you too! This card has such an elegant, Victorian feel to it. You can almost imagine it being sent to someone in the 1800s as an invitation to tea. Great job on this. Best, Curt
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little teacup! I love the vintage look of this card and the sentiment is perfect! :)
ReplyDeletePretty teacup! Love the pink and kraft with the floral paper and the little bit of pink trim. It's lovely!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Maggie - love the texture the embossing on the tea cup gives.
