This post is for another group I belong to on Splitcoaststampers - Challenge Your Stash. The idea is to make a card using only things that you already have in your stash - nothing new. Our hostess for this challenge was LauraJean. She gave us the challenge to "Take Flight." Think things that fly. I was looking through my 1000's of digital images and found this gorgeous one. I love hummingbirds and thought it would be perfect. The lighting makes that large flower look more purple, but it's kind of mauve.

Maggie, this card is absolutely stunning! Your use of flowers always amazes me as does your coloring. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie - just popped over to see what you're up to at the moment and saw this one. I love her images and you have coloured her so prettily! I'm with you re hummingbirds but have only every seen one in real life when we went on holiday to St Lucia - that really was an experience. Big hugs to you Sue Pxxx
ReplyDeleteWow, gorgeous! Your coloring is amazing, and such pretty, delicate papers. Prima has some really nice papers. We have hummingbirds that stay year round. They do eat bugs for protein, but get their energy from tree sap in the winter time. Can't seem to get many at the feeders, though. I just waste sugar.
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie I saw your card here and had to say Hi and say that this one is stunning. Love her images and love your card. Have a fantastic day!!
