Frankie's Flower - OSAAT #237

Hello my friends and Happy Sunday!  At least I hope it is where you are.  I was so happy to see sunshine yesterday. It's been nonexistent for quite some time now. I had big plans to purchase some more plants and get my planting done. I have little pots sitting all over my flower beds just waiting to be put in the ground. With all the rain we've been having, I haven't been able to get outside to plant. Unfortunately as I was going out the back door I slipped on the very slippery door mat ( that is now gone) and fell on my backside with my right leg up under me, so my right foot took the brunt of the fall. It got all scraped up and is black & blue on the side and on my big toe and the toe next to it. Hurts to walk. I've been icing it down and not doing too much except I did go run my errands right after it happened. Guess I didn't realize how bad it was until I got home. Hopefully, it will heal up quickly. Of course this puts a stop again to my lunch time walks.

So, on to my card for this fortnight's One Stitch at a Time challenge.  Our theme this time is Anything Goes With Appreciation. So get all those Thank You type stamps out and thank someone for something they've done for you. Here's my card. Someone told me that they thought he looked sad, but I think he's very cute.

  1. What a fabulous creation Maggie, so full of humour and elegance mixed into one. Poor Frankie looks so sad with his one flower to be given as a gift, if only he knew the flower was not the important bit but the remembering :) :) Big hugs, Jane xxxxx

  2. Hahahaha! This is great! I love a fun image like this. Not so funny or great about your fall, though. I'm sorry about that. I wish we could have some of your rain. We're way under our average and Wally and LuLu's swimming holes are drying up!

  10. I think Frankie is cute and fits perfectly on that die, too. Love how you used that MS boarder punch under there too. Lovely patterns and colors on your card. You always make wonderful cards, Maggie. I am glad your fall didn't keep you from your crafting. Hope that you are heeled by now. Take care and hugs.
