The extra time off gave me some extra time for stamping. So let's get to my Creative Knockouts card for this week. In case you wonder why I chose this image to use, one of my sons-in-law has a birthday in June and it so happens that his name is Thor, so I thought this would be a great card for his birthday. Hmmm. . must say, it really doesn't look like him, but I bet he'll like it. Besides that, his family are addicted to all those Marvel theme movies.

ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear from you! It's been a while and I was wondering if you were in the middle of all that I've been seeing on TV. I'm glad you live on a rise, but DO be careful driving to work. You couldn't have made a better card for your son-in-law. Great coloring. He'll get a kick out of this. Stay safe!

I'm glad you are safe! I'm assuming H Town is Houston. We move from there just after the last big flood about 15 years ago. I understand Meyerland got hit pretty hard again. Anyway, I love your manly card! Perfect for CRAFT Challenge this week. Thank you for joining us in the fun! Brenda

ReplyDeleteI feel for you with all the rain. We experienced severe flooding in our town two years ago...even now, the sound of rain makes me a little anxious! Your Thor card: fabulous! Perfect guy card...especially for one who enjoys his Marvel characters! Thank you for sharing your creativity in the ATSM gallery!

And I thought your choice of image was inspired by the weather, Thor being the god of thunder and lightning. He's quite a hunk! Love your spore choices, the match the style of the image really well.
