Can you believe it's Wednesday again already! It's been quite a week - lots more rain. We are officially over the drought we had all last year with temps up to 105. Everything just dried up and withered away. I'm looking forward to a better summer. Already flowers are blooming. My gardenia bush hasn't bloomed in 2 years, nor has my Bottlebrush bush. Both now are budding out and I can't wait to see them bloom.
Okay, on to my card. The image on this one was very appropriate since we've been having so much rain.
I just fell in love with this image ("Splash"). The challenge this week was to make a card using a distressing technique (torn edges, wrinkling, inking edges, etc.). The twist was to use a sentiment of Thank You which must be on the front of the card. The sentiments were computer generated.
The cardstock is Stampin Up Naturals Ivory. The dp is Basic Gray - Hopscotch. The Prima flowers, brad, and pearls are all from my stask. The leaves are from M.S. Fir Branch punch using Stampin Up Sage Shadow c/s.
Copics for coloring: B00, B32, B34; C0; E27, E35, E37, E39; E50, E51, E53; R01, R32; Y13, Y15, and Y18.
Our sponsor this week is Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps which is where I got this cute image. The prize is a $10 gift voucher to use at their store. You need to get over there and check out the great images and the specials.
We would love to have you take part this week. Check out the fabulous work of this Design Team.
