This is Teapot Tuesday - only a little late. Ooops. Was too busy with other things to get this one finished in time for Tuesday. Oh well, it's the back door for me. Here's the story.
This week our destination is Richmond, Virgina. If you would like a destination for your card this week, how about sending them to Joan, the mother of Emily, fellow SCSer/Teapotter (scrappinmama72inpa). Joan's birthday is tomorrow the 22nd and she is struggling with some medical issues. HERE is a link if you want to read the story and play along with us this week. We were to use butterflies and a cake and make it a Happy Birthday. Here's my card.
The image I used is one from Sandi Huggett over at The Outlawz. I printed it off on Copic Blending Paper. The base and mats are all Stamping Up Baja Breeze. The dp is Basic Gray's Hopscotch collection. Sentiment is from Stampin Up Birthday Bakery and I added a little cake from the Stampin Up Bring on the Cake stamp set. I used some Crystal Stickles on the wings of the butterfly and on the smaller butterflies. The butterfly and the cake were colored with my Copic markers: BG0000, BG000, BG02, BG11; E31, E35, E93, E95; G20, G21, G40; Y00, Y02; R01, YG01, YG03, YG11; YR000, YR01, and my SU black marker.
Here's a closer look at the butterfly.
I'm also submitting this one for The Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge - Anything with Wings.
