Alice's Birthday Shaped Card - OSAAT #253

Hi my friends and Happy New Year!  Gosh, it's been such a long time since I've posted a card.  Seems that I've really been on vacation. Well, I was.  Spent the Christmas holiday in "Sunny" ??? California with my older daughter and most of her family.  Hahaha!  It rained and was colder there than here in H Town.  One grand daughter was with her husband in Arizona with his family this year.  Sure missed seeing them. Got back from CA and then on New Year's Day celebrated Christmas again with my other daughter and her family. It was a lot of fun traveling and seeing the family and having fun, but I'm glad that it's over for another year and all the decorations are packed up and put away. Now, if I can just get my stamp room cleaned up and organized.  Yeah, do you think that will ever happen!

I'm glad to be back though with One Stitch at a Time. We have a great year planned for you with our challenges.  This one was a real challenge for me. The theme is Anything Goes But Not Square or Rectangle. I agonized most of the week trying to figure out what to do. I finally came up with this one that I cut out using my Cricut and my Elegant Edges cartridge.

Materials Used:
  • Image - Beary Dust - Alice
  • Sentiment - Stampin Up - Birthday Wishes
  • Cardstock - Xpress It Blending Card; Stampin Up Soft Sky
  • Ink - Memento Black
  • Designer Paper - My Mind's Eye - Now and Then Izzy Collection
  • Accessories - Cricut; Elegant Edges Cartridge; Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts; Bling- Recollections; Stampin Up Oval punch
  • Copic Markers - BG0000; BG01, BG10, BG11; E50, E51, E53; R21; Y13, Y18, Y21
I hope that you'll come join us for our challenge this week and in the weeks and months to come. I know I need to get busy getting some new cards done.  Our Sponsor this week is our own Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps and we have a great prize package for one lucky winner.

Of course, you could also be chosen as one of the Top 3.  And did you know that we also have a challenge every month over on our Facebook page?  So, you have two chances to be a winner! Hope to see you there!

  4. What a pretty card Maggie and a gorgeous shape :-). If your craft room is like mine, clearing it out is, well, not attainable ;-)
