The theme this time over at One Stitch at a Time is Anything Goes with Day of the Dead/Remembrance Sunday. I decided on Remembrance Sunday. I don't keep a lot of sympathy cards on hand and this month marks the first anniversary of my brother-in-law's passing. It was right before Thanksgiving last year.
Materials Used:
- Image - Stitchy Stamps - Fall Blessings
- Sentiment - Whiff of Joy - General Sayings II
- Cardstock - Xpress it Blending Card; Stampin Up Soft Sky
- Designer Paper - Basic Gray Marjolaine collection
- Accessories: Stampin Up oval punch and oval scallop punch; Stampin Up Soft Sky ribbon; Recollections - Bling Corner
- Copic Markers - B00, B000; E23, E25, E27; Y11, Y13, Y25, YG06, YG11, YG13, YG63, YR04
I hope that you'll come on over and play with us this fortnight. You could be the winner or one of the Top 3 picked by the Design Team members.

Oh, dear, I remember when your brother-in-law passed. So sad. You chose a beautiful image and it makes a lovely sympathy card. I really like the sentiment, too. Our doorbell rang once on Halloween. That's about our yearly average.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful image and beautiful card. Sympathy cards are always so hard to make but know wherever this one goes it's going to be appreciated so much.
