So happy to have this all fixed up again. I sure hope it doesn't happen again after another seven years.
Well, tomorrow we're supposed to get another ice storm, not enough to cover trees and down power lines like they get up North, but it'll make driving hazardous again. The good thing is that this time, our office is CLOSED! Yep, I get a free day off.
Well, enough about that. Time to show you my card for Creative Card Crew. Not one, but two cards tonight. We have two wonderful sponsors this week -

Prize: $15 gift Voucher
Now, on to my card
Materials Used:- Image - Aurora Wings - Kitten in a Teacup
- Sentiment - Whimsey Stamps - Lovely Spring
- Cardstock - Stampin Up - Real Red; Xpress It Blending Card
- Designer Paper - From my stash
- Sketch - MFTWSC112
- Accessories - Martha Stewart border punch; 1 1/4" round punch; Flower Die Cut; Nestabilities Lacey Rectangle; Ribbon - stash; bling - stash
- Copic markers - B0000, C1, R24, R34, R39; R59; G14, G17, G05
I really liked this one, but I was able to just lift the image mat and the sentiment mat and place them on the other card base that I made. Now I have to color up another image and sentiment so I can put them back on this card.
I hope you'll take out some time to get inky and come join us this week. You could be one of our winnters. Hop on over to the CCC Challenge Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team has come up with.
Oh Maggie this is gorgeous 0 love the image and the way you have presented it.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear your bench is now fixed.

Loving your wonderful coloring- both beautiful cards- the pop of green on the 2nd is so pretty. This image has your name all over it!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful, Maggie!! That card just reminds me so much of you!! Very pretty coloring too! :)
ReplyDeleteToo funny about your brain freeze! I think I like your original card best. I like that EF you used. Very pretty flowers in that image!
ReplyDeleteMaggie, I just recently discovered Aurora Wings myself, and have that darling Kitty in a Cup but haven't had time to do anything with it yet. Yours is so beautiful ! Love your color combo and design. The paper is wonderful but I also like the embossing. Nice that your 'brain freeze' let us see two cards instead of just one. :-D
ReplyDeleteGosh, when I saw your title I knew I was in for a treat. What could be cuter than a kitten in a cup, and then with all those beautiful flowers -- gorgeous! Have I mentioned how much I love red, too? Got to check out this Aurora Wings. BTW, I know how good it is to get things fixed and off your mind. Plumbers coming Wednesday...
ReplyDeleteGlad your office closed and you are safe with all this weather. Mine closed two weeks ago for a day, but this last storm with 14 inches by me, they opened. I stayed home as it is a 2 hr commute on good days one way, and I knew I wouldn't get in or home easily. Your card is precious, tea cups are a favorite of mine, and love the kitty!!
ReplyDeleteMaggie.....loved both of the cards!!! They are purr-fect!!!! I love this imagine...teacup and kitty!!!! Two of my favorite things!!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are wonderful!! I love the colors that you used. Cute image also!!
ReplyDeleteMaggie, I love both cards! Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteLOL! sounds like Miami - give them rain, and they just get 100 times more crazy! Lovely card, sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteWow! I LOVE these cards Maggie! The flowers seem dimensional to me...awesome coloring as usual!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth these cards are so nice. I love seeing the same image on different cards. Just a small change, makes a big difference. TFS! Love them!
ReplyDeleteLove both of these versions Maggie and they are both so gorgeous. I am sure you loved colouring this awesome image twice.
