I had some time tonight to play with an image that I colored up while I was home from work yesterday. It's for the Simply Betty Designs Fan Page Challenge for this month. We got a free image to work with for this challenge. All you have to do is become a Fan of Simply Betty on her Facebook page and then request the image. The challenge this month besides using the image was to make your entry using Black/Beige + one other color. I decided to add pink to my entry. Here's my card.
Did you know that Medusa was once a beautiful woman, but Athena transformed her into the monstrous looking creature she became with the snakes for her hair and anyone who looked into her eyes was turned to stone. I think this rendition of Medusa captures both her monster and beautiful sides.
