Christmas in Pink - PSC54

Merry Christmas!  Oh wait, it's not quite Christmas yet and a good thing because I haven't even started shopping yet and don't have all my cards done either.

If you were in Sandy's path, I sure hope that you came through it unscathed.  I pray for all those who didn't and had injuries or damages.  We went through Hurricane Ike down here just a few years ago and I know how terrible it can be.

Also, this is the end of the Perfect Sentiment Challenge Birthday Blog Hop.  I want to thank all of you of my Followers that participated.  I will be going through all the posts for the 4 challenges and matching them up with those that posted over on the PSC blog to see who is eligible to win one of my prizes.  I'll be posting the winners on Friday, November 2 as will PSC.  Good luck to all of you.

It's been so long since I've done a post for PSC.  Hope I remember how.  LOL!  To the business at hand.

This week our challenge is to create a card with the sentiment for Christmas and the TWIST is to use pink on your card in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, so "Think Pink for Christmas."

Our wonderful sponsor this month is Bugaboo stamps and the prize they are giving to our luky winner is 7, yes 7 free digis!  Wow!

I'm using one called SASJJornament for my card.  This was lots of fun to work with.

Materials Used:
  • Image - Bugaboo - see above
  • Sentiment - Waltzing Mouse - Nordic Winter
  • Cardstock - Stampin Up Bashful Blue, Pear Pizzazz, and Bravo Burgundy; Xpress It Blending Card
  • Pattern Paper - Basic Gray Eskimo Kisses, and My Mind's Eye Blush
  • White Opal Liquid Pearls for the trim on her dress; Stickles - Clear Rock Candy; Nestabilities - Classic Oval, Big Scalloped Ovals, and Nested Pennants; Flowers - Prima; Martha Stewart Fir Branch Punch;  Glitter Brads from my stash; Lace from my stash
  • Copic Markers:  R81, R83, R85; E18, E50, E51, E53; B0000, B00, B01; Y11, Y13, Y18; YG03, YG11, YG61, N3; 0

    Such a cute card! The flowers are gorgeous and I like how you used the liquid pears for the trim of her dress. I love everything about it! :)

    You did a great job with this challenge. . . I would have never made it. . .still too early for me to get in the "Christmas" mood and I would struggle with the color pink on a Christmas card. Really cute image you used too. Hope you are well. Best, Curt
