Hello Kitty

I made this card for my first ever submission to a magazine.  It was rejected.  :(  Oh well, it was only my first time and I plan to try again and again.  It's my dream.  I really liked the way it turned out and thought it really followed the sketch and requirements they were looking for.  It will be interesting to see what was accepted when the magazine is released.
The image is by Krista Smith over at Saturated Canary.  She's got lots of lovely images to choose from.
Materials I used:
Cardstock - Gina K designs White; Copic Blending Paper; SU Handsome Hunter
Paper - Basic Gray - Phresh & Phunky collection
Ink - Stampin Up Rose Romance (retired)
Sentiment - Hero Arts - Thinking of You.
Accessories:  Martha Stewart Punch - Branch
Glue and Fine Silver Glitter
Flowers - Whiff of Joy - Curly Rose; Wild Orchid Crafts mini roses. 

Of course I used my Copic markers to color the image -- BG0000, BG000; BG10, BG11; R0000, R000, R01, R59, R81, R83, R85; E50, E51, E51; Y02, Y11, Y18, Y19; W00, W1, W3, W4, W6.

    I think it turned out really cute! Point me int he direction of the mag when it comes out. I'd like to see what they were looking for as well.

    wow I love the design, the dp...basic grey right??? your coloring is awesome, as always... this is really very cool... I will be interested to see what they chose as well...
