Mr. Postman - Sunshine Mail

Hi friends.  Boy am I glad this week is over.  It's been rough.  Started out last Saturday with having my wallet stolen at my local grocery store.  Been trying to deal with an uncooperative assistant manager and the local police department to see if they could apprehend this crook.  What a nightmare trying to remember all the things that were in my wallet and what online accounts were attached to my debit card.  Luckily, I was not out anything, but a couple of banks were.

Then the other day I went to the orthopedist for a follow up to my knee injury back before Christmas and to check on an old upper arm injury.  Turns out I have bursitis in both places and the good doctor was only to happy to give me a couple of shots in both places to get rid of the pain, BUT I have pain now from the shots.  She did tell me that all the pain should go away in a few days.

You also know how much I love kitties. Well, I had a poor neglected and very sick kitty show up in my back yard last night and was able to quickly trap it and called the vet.  Unfortunately, it was too sick to save and we ended up having to euthanize it this morning.  Was not a happy time. I was glad that it found it's way into my yard  and that I was able to help it and put it out of its misery.  You could see that it had been neglected for some time.

You see why I'm glad to put this week behind me.

Now on to my card this week for Sunshine Mail Foundation.  I wasn't sure I was going to get this card made for the challenge with everything else that's been going on.

Hi my friends!  I've got some fabulous news to share.  I've been invited to join the Design Team at the Sunshine Mail Foundation Challenge Blog.  This is my first card for the DT and I look forward to working with them for some time to come.  The challenge runs from November 1 to November 14.  I'm really excited to be involved with this group.  This is all about making kids' lives a little brighter by sending them cards.  Please read about them HERE.  Our theme this time is Anything Goes and the only real rule is that you send a card to the Sunshine Mail Foundation.  It doesn't have to be the card that you enter in the challenge. The guidelines for donating can be found HERE.

We're sponsored this time by Stitchy Bear - One Stitch at a Time who will award a $10 voucher to one lucky winner.
