I'm a little late getting this one posted. I ended up in the ER yesterday morning and was diagnosed with Shingles. Ugh! Not fun at all. They gave me some meds and I saw my own PCP today w ho gave me a script for pain medication. Hopefully they will all help clear this up. My sister and cousin both had this last year and my oldest daughter is just getting over a bought of it. Is there an epidemic going around? I will be getting the shot in the Spring when this is all out of my system and hope that I don't get it again.
I'm glad I was finally able to get a card done for International Art & Soul. It's been awhile.

As always, you could be the top winner or picked as one of the Top 3. It's all for fun. Keep well.
Maggie, I'm sorry you are dealing with shingles... please take care of yourself and get better fast!
ReplyDeleteYour card is very pretty!
Maggie, feel better soon! I know that it must be quite uncomfortable.
ReplyDeleteYour card, however, is gorgeous! It reminds me of Belle and her rose :)
And it sounds so funny to hear you say behind in your school work! But I know what you mean, LOL
Ooooh, this is pretty! It's one of the sets I didn't get (there were so many this release), but now I'm wishing I had gotten it. There are some really pretty stamps in it, as you've illustrated in your card. You made it up so cute with your coloring and the pretty paper. Love how you added the bow in the corner. I hope your shingles outbreak doesn't last too long. I've been lucky so far. Good luck with your schoolwork. Some things take priority and others have to be put on the back burner for a while.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful - love that image and your design.
ReplyDeleteThis card is just so lovely. The background paper reminds me of an old-fashioned Christmas .
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that you have shingles . I had reoccurring shingles for about two years , it was very painful .
Take care of yourself .
Hugs,
Your DT Sister,
Chriss
