Yes, I am well behind in getting my cards posted on my blog. Lots of things have been getting in the way which I won't go into now. I will say that my latest project is raising a monarch caterpillar in my home and not in my hutch. All the ones in my hutch have made their chrysalis, so I'm waiting for them to hatch. I hadn't seen anymore in my garden all week until I found this one kind of big one all by itself. I don't think it will take too long for it to grow enough to make it's chrysalis too. I have a butterfly cage, so decided to try raising it indoors. This is only the 2nd day, so we'll see how hit goes. It does have a healthy appetite which means I have to keep cutting the tops of plants off to make little plants stuck in the top of a plastic food container for it to climb on and feed. I'll let you know how that turns out.
For now I'm going to get eto the card kit that the Creative Card Chicks on SCS received in June from littledeb. Let me say that I lover Gerbera daisies so I was thrilled to receive this kit from Deb.
I'm not used to coloring on kraft paper, but I love how this one turned out. Sorry I don't know what I did with the instructions that she sent that said what everything was and where it came from.
I did use my Copic markers to color. B0000; E23, E25; G43; Y35, Y38; YG06. I also used some Chrystal Effects on the jar and some white liquid pearls for the white spray. Deb made is so easy. I also didn't put a sentiment on it yet. I'll do that when I choose to send it to someone.
Oh Maggie this is beautiful!! Love your colouring, and the white brings it all to life.

Maybe you're raising the Monarch of them all! I sure do love this pretty bouquet in the glossy jar, Maggie. Someday I'll try coloring on kraft. I like how this turned out!
ReplyDeleteI just love the pretty image, and your coloring on Kraft is so pretty. Love the touch of white too.
