Here is my second post for today for the Monthly Challenge. The Monthly Challenge is a group on Splitcoast
Stampers. Each month one of the members sends a kit to the rest of the
group including images, some dp, and embellishments. Then each member
makes at least one card from the kit and sometimes more than that.
Sometimes the Hostess has guidelines that we are supposed to follow.
It's always fun and interesting to see what each member makes from the
same kit. This card is from the May kit send by Dody (Beachbound on SCS). Dody's challenge was to make a card in 30 minutes or less. The image was already colored, so I didn't have to take time for that. All the ingredients of the card were from the kit except for the card base which we always provide for ourselves.
What more can I say about this. I love this stamp set from Stampin Up and it's one that I don't think I could ever part with. The colors were so soft and I wanted to keep it that way. I used Going Gray cardstock for the base and the image mat.
Looks great, Maggie!
ReplyDeleteFabulous Maggie - love how you kept the colours soft so the image could take centre stage.

I love the oldies and this one's a goodie, too! Nice, soothing soft colors. Sometimes designing the card takes me longer than the coloring. It's all fun, though.
ReplyDeleteMaggie, I have this set too. I love it. I just used some of it a couple weeks ago for a PL. And still have some other stickers left. I love the softness of your card. Beautiful. Hugs your OSAAT teamie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Maggie. The image is so serene.
ReplyDeleteoh Maggie this is so soft and serene! I'm guessing Dody sent different images from the same stamp set :) mine is very slightly different and this is just absolutely breathtaking!!
