Jenny's Flowers

Hello my friends!  A lot has been going on since I last posted. I was able to take a few days off work and travel to Provo, Utah to attend my grand daughter and her husband's commencement exercises at BYU. They are very blessed since they both have a great job and a cute little apartment. They are planning to stick around Provo for some time to come and eventually will go for their Masters.  After the graduation was all over, I went on to California to see my other grand daughter in her final High School Musical performance.  She graduates HS in June and then in the Fall will be off to the University of Utah where she was accepted into their Musical Theater program. She's very excited. That will leave my daughter and her husband as empty nesters!  Unreal that the girls are all grown up.

Luckily I took off on Monday so I was able to work on a couple DT cards that needed to get done this week.  Here is my card for this week's challenge over at Creative Knockouts - Our theme is Finish the Inside.  So you can make any kind of card you want, just as long as you decorate the inside of the card. I decided to make an easel card and put my sentiment on the inside.  This is a card for Mother's Day.

Materials Used:
  • Image - Color Ink - Jenny's Flowers
  • Sentiment - Color Ink - Jenny's Flowers
  • Cardstock - Stampin Up Bashful Blue; Xpress It Blending Card
  • Designer Paper - Simple Stories - Summer Fresh collection
  • Accessories - Marvy Circle Punch and Scallop Circle Punch; Nestabilities Classic Oval Die; Petaloo - Dark Red Flowers; Wild Orchid Crafts - small red roses and sweetheart blossoms; Martha Stewart - Leaf Branch Punch and Edge Punch

Our wonderful sponsor this week is Color Ink Digital Stamps
And the prize for one lucky winner is a 7.5 Euro GC
Now it's your turn. I hope you'll join in with us and get inky. Hop on over to the Creative Knockouts blog and see what the rest of the DT have to inspire you. You could be the winner or chosen as one of our Top 3.  See you there!
