Ding Dong Fae - OSAAT #227

Hi my friends. Happy Sunday after Christmas.  I enjoyed spending time with one of my daughters and her family. We had the traditional Christmas dinner but my poor son-in-law is recovering from hernia surgery he had on Tuesday, so he was not allowed to eat any of the food we fixed including dessert.  That meant lots of leftovers and I brought enough home to have 3 more meals. It's been really good.  And now we get ready for New Year's! I'm not a party person but I'm looking forward to having another 4-day weekend. Lots to do around the house including organizing and cleaning up my stamp room. It's a wreck! I am still working on some holiday cards to send out, but they are turning out to be Seasons' Greetings and Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas. Sorry to my blogging friends that I didn't get them all done before the holidays.

On to what I think is my last Christmas card for this year. The theme over at One Stitch at a Time is Anything Goes with Stitching.
I thought that the paper was pretty busy and I wanted the image to stand out, so I didn't really add any embellishments to it.

Materials Used:
  • Image - Pookie Designs - Fae 1
  • Sentiment - Lili of the Valley
  • Cardstock - Xpress It Blending Card; Stampin Up - Cherry Cobbler
  • Ink - Stampin Up - Cherry Cobbler
  • Designer Paper - My Mind's Eye - Merry Little Christmas
  • Accessories - Spica Gold Gel Pen
  • Copic Markers - B0000; E11, E21, E50; G20, G40, G43; R24, R27, R39, R89
I hope you will hop on over to One Stitch at a Time Challenge Blog and join in the fun. You could be the winner of the December Prize Package or picked as one of the Top 3.

  4. All that mix and matching of patterns has created one superb card! And that fairy looks so stinkin' happy. Almost as happy as you must have been to have all those leftovers. Yummmy! I hope your son-in-law feels better soon.

  9. Another darling fun image! I love mixing papers like this and, yes, do tend to cut down on the embellies when the paper is doing a lot of the work. Love those glittery wings!
