Amalia's Christmas Lights - CK #47

Hello my friends and Happy Thursday!  Ah, just one more day til Friday.  I'm also feeling happy because my boss is out of the office for 2 days. <insert happy face here>  I can use a bit of good news.  This week has not been all fun and games.  I had to take another one of the kitties (Maggie Mae) to the vet this week.  She's the little one in the middle of the header up above.  And what a sweetheart she is.  She likes to come sit up on my computer desk with me when I'm working and then she crawls up on my shoulder to snuggle.  I noticed the other night that she had a film over her left eye.  The vet drew some blood for tests and I should hear something back by Friday.  Right now I'm having to put 2 drops of meds in her eye 3 times a day.  Lucky for us she's not a psycho cat like Corey so I've been able to take care of this pretty well.  At least for now.  A prayer or two for her would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Now on to my card.  It certainly is NOT cold here in H Town this time of the year, so do you think that having a challenge of Christmas in July can get us in the holiday spirit?  That's what it is over at Creative Knockouts this week.  I hope this will motivate me to get some more Christmas cards going or I won't have any to send out this year.

Here's an up-close shot of the image.

  5. I'm in the same boat with the Christmas cards. I need to get a move on! This one is really cute. Adorable and fun image and love the papers. Just bought a new pad of Christmas paper which I did NOT need. Gee, maybe it will get me in the mood. I'm sorry to hear about your sweet little Maggie Mae. I know that will happen if they get poked in the eye and they will recover. Maybe it was something like that. Hoping sincerely it is a quick healing process.
