So today was the big day. Corey had to get meds for his ear mites. LOL! I wasn't sure how I was going to do that because he goes ballistic whenever I try to pick him up or do anything to him. I had another trick up my sleeve. He follows me into the bathroom in the morning when I get up, so I took the tube of meds in with me. He followed one of the other cats in their and when she left, I quick closed the door, got the tube of meds, pinned him to the floor with my left hand and squeezed the medicine into his ears. Job done! Now I just hope I"ll be able to pull that same trick on him next Wednesday.
Guess it's time to get on to the business at hand - Our theme this week at Creative Knockouts is to use the sketch shown below for your card layout.

I love the layout of this card and printed it off. :) I love how you used the different papers...I'm not sure I would have thought of that and have already got ideas running through my head due to your card. This is such a cute image, too. Pretty flowers always catch my eye.
ReplyDeleteI totally hear you about how you tricked Corey. We have a kitty who needs eye meds for an eye infection she got when she poked herself in the eye with a stick. (No, I guess I never told her not to run with sticks in her hands! hahaha). I tricked her twice and after that, she got too smart...sigh...so have to keep changing it around. Unfortunately, now she runs when she sees me! Oh well...good luck with your kitties and hope they get better soon.
Thank you for the wonderful and kind comment on my card with the old Ford truck with my 2 beagles and hubby driving. You made me smile. Hugs, Gail

Such a sweet card, love those colors together! I'm a late bloomer, I know, but maybe I'll have to add some of those SU colors to my stash. The papers are gorgeous.
