Monthly Challenge - Soni

Hello again and Happy Saturday. I hope you all are enjoying a pleasant weekend.  I think I may be finally getting over whatever this is although I still seem to be coughing a bit, but fever seems to be gone.  Yeah!

I belong to a group that does a monthly challenge called Girls of the Baker's Dozen.  Yes, this go round we have 13 of us instead of just 12.  And I'm playing catch up.  I haven't had the time to post in 4 months.  For this card I received my supplies from Sonja (Soni).  She knows I love purple so I just had to use those purple supplies for my card.
The image, image mat, sentiment and flower dp I received from Soni.  The card base and dp mat are Stampin Up Lavendar Lace; the background dp is from Gina K; the ribbon is from my stash as well as the doily.

Copic Markers - BV0000, BV00, BV11, B0000

That's is.  Now to get busy and work on the other 3 packages that I have sitting on my work table.

  1. Beautiful and I love that design! All the purple is so pretty too.

  2. Lovely card Maggie - love the layers and the overall design. I do hope a cupcake will help :-)

  3. I know this group! :) Love your purple card, and the image is showcased so sweetly!

  4. So pretty & love the layout Maggie!

I responded on my blog to yoru question but I'll answer here too....The card you asked me about is all Bianca. I just helped her a bit with the layout....she likes coloring more than actual card making LOL!!!!

  5. Loving the coloring on the cupcake- and the great DP you used. I love the purple and the pretty bow you added : )

  6. Don't you just love it when people give you pretty elements to put on a card. And you had the perfect ribbon in your stash. I never have the right color in my four or five drawers of ribbon! LOL
Love your pretty purple card, and I am glad you are feeling better.

  7. Just beautiful Maggie!! I hope that you are feeling better!

  8. This is super cute! I like the sentiment and the pretty floral paper.

  9. Such fun to do as a group! I swear, I have so many plans for when I retire. A girl can make a lot of plans in a year and a half. You prettied this card right up with the doily and had the perfect papers to go with what you received. I really love the sentiment!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your comments. I very much appreciate your time to do so. Have a fabulous day! Hugs!
