Love Bear - CCC #55

Hi friends and welcome to Tuesday!  It's hard for me to type these days.  My hands are so  dry from the cold Winter weather and I get little cuts on the tips of my fingers.  Ouch!  I go around with band aids on my fingers.  People look at me a little strange wondering what happened.  ;)  Working with paper at the office doesn't help either - filing, opening and closing files - all that paper dust dries my hands out too.

But I'm sure you'd rather me show you my card for this challenge from Creative Card Crew.  Our theme is pretty easy - Keep it Simple and Sweet!  We have 2 great sponsors this time.  First Marianne Design

Here is my card that I created using one of QKR Stampede's fabulous images.  I thought this little Love Bear was so cute. Doesn't he look smitten!

Materials Used:
  • Image - QKR Stampede - Love Bear
  • Sentiment - Stampin Up - Happy Heart Day
  • Cardstock - Xpress It Blending Card; Stampin Up Strawberry Slush
  • Designer Paper - Basic Gray - Perhaps Collection - Julia
  • Accessories - Nestabilities Die Cut; Stampin Up Small Tag and Large Tag punches; Ribbon from my stash
  • Copic Markers - B0000; E000, E00, E13, E25, E42; C0, C1, C3; R21, R22, R32; YG61, YG63, YG67

    Oh, I've recently fallen in love with QKR images and am using one for my hubby's Valentine. This little guy is the sweetest! I checked him out when I was shopping. He makes the most darling Valentine. I love to color an image and then keep the card simple. Sometimes you just want to color. Beautiful job on this. Love the pretty ribbon!

    What a sweet image Maggie - have you tried a zinc based creme for your fingers? The zinc element in the creme keeps the moisture 'in'.

    Super cute card and awesome bow! I sympathize about the dry hands, I use Eucerin Intensive Repair hand cream and it helps some (when I remember to use it lol)
