Hello my friends and Happy Friday Night! So glad to have a weekend here and with not much going on so I'm hoping I'll have lots of time to play.
Before I go get lost in my stamp room, I want to show you my card I did for this month's Simply Betty Facebook Fan Page Challenge. The deal as always is that we get a free digi from the amazing Betty but we have to use the image to enter the Fan Page Challenge that month. If you don't, then you have to sit out the next month. The good thing is that if you can't do the challenge, you can always purchase the image. Check out her store at Simply Betty Stamps and see all the amazing digis and rubber stamps she has for you.
So, here's my card.
The sentiment words are from Betty, but I generated them on my computer so they would fit on the tag. Cardstock base is Stampin Up Pale Plum and the image is printed on Xpress It Blending Card. I dug into my stash of designer paper and found these from Imaginisce - A Shore Thing, and Getting Hotter - needs water. I used bling and Stickles for the bubbles and stickles also on the fins. The image was colored with Copic markers - B0000, B000, B01, B02; BG0000; E01, E02; V0000, V000, V01; YG0000, YG00, YG03, YG06, YG21.
Here's a close up of the image --
My layout is from My Favorite Things.
That's it for today. Just a reminder that Perfect Sentiment Challenge will be back on Wednesday, August 7. I hope you'll come join in and play with us again.

ReplyDeleteA beachy image is just the thing this time of year as things heat up in most areas. Been a bit cool here, though. Love your paper and layout for this image. Couldn't be better, except that you added your great coloring with her beautiful wavy hair, and the sparkles and the rhinestones to suggest bubbles. All very pretty and creative!
