Valentine Finals

Valentine's Day has come and gone but I had these two cards that I made that I didn't have a chance to post.  These are actually the first 2 cards I've made that someone actually asked me to make for them and paid me to do it!  I was so excited.  They were for the grand daughters of a lady I work with.  She gave them to the girls over the weekend and the oldest (who is 4) just loved her card.  She said she brought it up close to her face to try to smell the flowers.  ;)  I could just picture her doing that.

 Materials Used:
  • Image - The Digi Garden - Ursula With Heart
  • Sentiment - Stampin Up - Fancy Flexible Phrases
  • Cardstock - Stampin Up - Bashful Blue; Xpress It Blending Card
  • Designer Paper - Lili of the Valley Nit Wit Collection - Bonnets & Bowties (I love this paper)
  • Accessories - Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts; Leaves - Fir Branch punch from Martha Stewart; Ribbon Loop Double Edge from Martha Stewart; Doily from my stash; Nestabilities Classic Circle Die
  • Copic Markers - B0000; B12, B21, B34; E50, E51, E53; E25, E27, E35; R29, R39; R81, R83, R85; C1

I thought since the cards were related, I'd just go ahead and put them both on the same blogpost.  The images are some of the last ones I was able to buy from Jacqui (The Digi Garden) before her passing.

Materials Used:
  • Image -The Digi Garden - Molly with Polka Dot Heart
  • Sentiment - Stampin Up - Fancy Flexible Phrases
  • Cardstock - Stampin Up - Blushing Bride and Mellow Moss; Xpress It Blending Card
  • Designer Paper - Lili of the Valley NitWit Collection - Perfect Pair (I love this one too)
  • Acccessories:  Lace - my stash; Flowers and metal corner - Wild Orchid Crafts; Leaves - Martha Stewart Leaf Punch; Nestabilities Classic Oval, and I'm not sure what the other one is called I used for the mat.
  • Copic Markers - B0000; E31, E33, E35; E50, E51, E53; R27, R29, R39; R81, R83, R85; 0
That's about it.  Guess now that I'm starting to sell some I really need to get that Etsy shop open.  I did sell another card today.  It's the one I posted yesterday - Floral Fantasia - to another lady I work with.

Thanks for stopping by.

  18. It makes me sad to think about Jacqui but I am glad that you were able to get these images. The happy spot is envisioning the 4 yo trying to smell the flowers. Doesn't that just bring a picture to your mind? I'm so glad you put both of these cards on here. They are both very sweet & very nicely done. Thanks for sharing with us on Vickie's Challenge at Lady Anne's. We look forward to having you sharing your art with us again soon. Hugs~Patti
