You Warm My Heart

Happy Thanksgiving Week!  Are you busy getting all the preparations made for Turkey Day on Thursday?   I'm previewing a couple of things these days before to see if they'll work for the family.  I don't have to cook the turkey.  My sister has Thanksgiving at her house with all her family and then me and my daughter and her family all go there.  It's a big family affair.

Well, today is Tuesday and time for another {Pin}spirational Challenge.  First I'll show you the photo that is our inspiration for this week.
Isn't that just a lovely scene.  It really looks like peace and tranquility and lovely Fall colors in the background.

And our wonderful sponsor this week is Fresh Brewed Designs.  Check out the store and see all the fabulous digis/stamps she has.

For my card I was inspired by the teacup first since our sponsor is Fresh Brewed.  ;)  Then I picked up some of the background color in my striped paper and thought that the image I used portrayed the peace and tranquility in the inspiration photo.
Materials Used:
  • Image and Sentiment - Fresh Brewed Designs - Girl in Window and Warms My Heart
  • Cardstock - Stampin Up - Creamy Caramel; Xpress It Blending Card
  • Design Paper - Basic Gray - Oxford paper pad
  • Accessories - Twine, charm, ribbon - all from my stash; Stampin Up Oval and Scalloped Oval punches
  • Copic Markers - Sky: B0000; Table & Chairs: E33, E35, E37; Skin:  E50, E51, E53;Shirt: R22, R35, R37; Skirt: B21, B32, B41; Radiator & Window Frame: C1, C4, C6; Hair: Y11, Y15, Y21
That's it for today!  Now  it's your turn.  I hope you'll play along with us this week.  Check out our blog at {Pin}spirational Challenge and see what the rest of the Design Team has for you.  Get inky and get creative!  You could be the winner this week.
