Happy Holidays - PSC42

Happy Wednesday my friends.  Is it hot where you are??  We've been so lucky this year to be having normal temps for the most part after the triple digits at the end of June.  We've also been having some rain just about every day.  That has really helped our drought from the last two years.  Hope this week's challenge at Perfect Sentiment will help you feel the cool!  Our challenge this week is Christmas in July and the twist is to use a border punch on the card.  Just make sure you put a sentiment on the front.

Our sponsor this week is Pattie's Creations.  The prize is one digital stamp from her store.

Here is my card.

Materials Used:
  • Image is Mimo Snowman from Bildmalarna
  • Sentiment is See-D's Holiday Words and Sayings
  • Cardstock - Stampin Up - Cherry Cobbler and Cool Caribbean; Xpress It Blending Card
  • Paper - Basic Gray Eskimo Kisses
  • Nestabilities - Classic Round
  • Flowers - Prima - Christmas collection
  • Brads - Stash
  • Copic markers:  B000, B0000; BG000, BG0000; C0; E000, E00, E11; E44, E57; R17, R39, R59; R81, R83; Y11, Y13, Y18; YR21, YR68, 0.
Now it's your turn.  Get your supplies out and give it a go.  You could be the winner of the prize this week or your card could be picked as one of the Perfect 3!   Check out what the rest of the DT has come up with.  The links to the blogs are over there on my left sidebar.

I'm going to submit this card to the following challenges:

Clear it out Challenge - Christmas in July - Red flowers from my stash
Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge - Christmas in July
LEJ Designs Challenge - Bling
Party Time Tuesday - Christmas in July

Top Tip Tuesday - All about circles

Well, that's all for today.  Thank you for stopping by and leaving your comment.  I really appreciate your time to do this.  Have a happy Wednesday!

  5. It has been brutal in NYC this year. It is my least favorite time of year becuase of it. Subway platforms cook me. Love looking at your snowman, it is cooling! Great papers and fun layout and love the pointsettia spray!

  6. Love all the DP. It is colorful yet doesn't appear 'busy'. Great layout!

And yes, it's hot here. Governor is setting up 'drilling' relief for farmers. Says they can buy hay and grain but they can't buy water.
