Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Mine was low-keyed. I did get out to a baby shower on Saturday for the daughter of a good friend. I didn't have any plans yesterday so I thought I'd take advantage of the day off from work and clean up my stamping space. My room is one of the old bedrooms that I didn't have any use for. These are just 2 shots of my room. This one from the doorway is of my stamp tables. I usually work with stuff piled all around me so I can just grab it. You can see in the background that there are books on those shelves over to the right.
These are my stamp drawers where I keep all my stamps, most of which are from Stampin Up, but there are many others that are being added.
To the left of the draws is a unit that has 3 pull out drawers that holds some of my 12 x 12 dp, some grunge chipboard, and other stuff.
Now on to the clean up. Here are my stamping tables all cleaned up. The cabinets below the
tables hold hanging file folders with my 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock. The
bottom drawer to the far right also has a lot of my magazines and all my
Copic magazines and class books from my 2 classes.
Here is a close up of my stamp pad storage - holds all my Stampin Up stamp pads, markers, and some of the reinkers. The unit on the left doesn't have room for all the reinkers, so they are all in a box on one of the shelves.
Above are my stamp drawers all cleaned up and organized. They are all marked as to what is inside them - flower stamps, nature, backgrounds, birthday, Christmas, etc. Makes it a little easier to find something that I'm looking for.
Here is that shelf unit. I removed most of the books from it, put a few of my trinkets that I wanted to keep out to show and opened up the bottom shelf to put some of my boxes of ribbons - have you noticed how many boxes of ribbons that I have???????? Can I just say, I'm addicted to ribbons.
Up close photo of some of my ribbon boxes. Each one is organized by colors.
This is another shelf unit that holds more ribbon, boxes of embellishments, plastic sleeves with my Stampin Up designer paper which is sorted alphabetically and also some plastic sleeves for my 12 x 12 cardstock. On the bottom shelf are large binders with pages that hold some of the cards that I've received over the years that I don't want to part with.
This is up close of the boxes of embellishments and some other supplies.
This is upclose of the dp, cardstock, and binders.
One day when I was out shopping I found this over the door shoe holder with double pockets. I thought it would be a great addition to my stamp room to hold all my large punches.
I have added to this by buying some Cricut cartridges to use instead of punches. I have no room in my stamp room for my Cricut or Cuttlebug, so I keep them out on the kitchen counter.
This photo is the inside of the closet where I put shelves to hold more supplies. Most of the boxes in here hold flowers all sorted by colors. Did I tell you that I'm also addicted to Flowers?? I love using flowers on my cards and haven't mastered the art of making my own yet, but I keep practicing.
Almost done. These last photos show the other shelf unit that holds bottles of Prima flowers and just a lot of other supplies. To the right is my new Air Compressor which I have not had time to get out of the box. On the floor to the left are some of my Christmas stamps. I make Christmas cards throughout the year, so they are kept pretty much close at hand. I do have some large 2" plastic paper keepers that hold all my Christmas designer papers.
This is the last photo. Shows some of my smaller supply drawers that hold labels, brushes, gel pens, my distress ink pads, etc.
It's not exactly the way I would do it if I were starting over, but I used what I had or what was available that would fit the room. No matter, I love being in here and creating cards or other altered items as gifts for my friends. Hope you enjoyed seeing what Maggie's Cat House looks like. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous day. If you're ever in my area, please stop by.
Have a fabulous week.
