The Challenge: create a card that reflects a sentiment for "baby"
The Twist: use some form of stitching on your card...hand, machine, or faux, the choice is yours. I had a hard time with my sewing on this one. Spent $100 to service my machine last year and the thread breaks, then tried my Crafty Sew Easy which was worse, so forgive my sloppy sewing. Maybe it gives it a little more character.
A good friend just gave birth to a baby boy 2 weeks ago which inspired me to create this. The image is Whiff of Joy - Willow with Toddler stamped using Memento Black. So cute. The card base is SU Old Olive and the pattern paper is SU Petals and Paisley. Love it! All the pieces are matted on SU So Saffron. The sentiment is from SU For a Friend also stamped in Memento Black and then colored
using Copic BG34. The ribbon is from my stash and the button is from a Tim Holtz collection.
Copics used were BG000, BG0000, BG01, BG34; C0; E34, E35, E39, E50, E51; R01; Y00, Y21, Y23; YR00, YR12, YR15; and 0.
Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate all comments.
