I finally got to the last heart on the first row! LOL! I still have to work on No. 4. This class really needed much more time than I had to give to it, but luckily I can still go back and watch all the videos that were presented and I've been able to download all the classes so I can still work on all the lessons. This is what happens when you work all day and only have limited time in the evenings to be productive.
This card was made using the "Kiss" technique. I actually left out a portion of the the technique - the resist part. I liked the way it looked after I "kissed" the SU Boho Blossom b/g stamp which I inked up with Fired Brick Distress Ink onto the SU Big Blossom b/g stamp which was inked up with Versamark and stamped the Big Blossom onto GP white c/s. I cut out the Big Blossom image and mounted it on a piece of flower pattern paper which I mounted on a 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" SU Ruby Red c/s base. I put a strip of white ribbon across the pattern paper and tied a bow. The sentiment is from SU Day of Gratitude and I used the SU oval punch to punch it out and mounted it with Dimensionals. I finished it off with a red button tied with a bit of twine.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
Such a pretty card, Maggie! I have always loved that big flower, but kind of forgot how fun the "kiss" technique can be ;-) You did a great job on it. The button with the little bit of twine in it adds the perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteGood for you for being willing to learn and try new things. I really could use some new techniques. Maybe one day.
