Heartfelt Sympathy - IAS #4

Hi my friends. So good to be back and chatting with you again - even if it is mostly one-sided. I do appreciate your comments that you leave so sometimes they are a little chatty. LOL!

I never seem to have a sympathy card on hand when I need one and maybe that's because I don't want to have to send one out to a friend. Lately though the sympathy cards I've made have come at a time when they are needed to send my thoughts and feelings to a dear friend who has lost someone very close to them. This card is the second one I've needed, the first I haven't blogged yet. A dear friend who I've know for at least 10 years lost a daughter suddenly this past week. They believe she had an asthma attack and no one was home with her to help her when she needed it. She leaves behind a husband and a 7 yo daughter. So, so sad.

My card here is for the International Art & Soul Challenge.  The theme of the challenge is Embossing - wet or dry, whichever you want. I embossed the sentiment which is the focal point of my card.

Shanna - IAS #3

Hi again my friends.  Whoops!  I'm a little late getting my post done. I was so busy yesterday getting my Spring housecleaning done, even though I was not feeling great due to a bout of allergies which I'm beginning to see is a yearly thing. It was enough to have me off work for 2 days this past week. The good news is that my TV/Internet service is FIXED! I'm so happy that they were finally able to send someone to my house who recognized what was wrong right off the bat. I did have to call him once a couple days later after he was done because I still had an issue with it, but he was able to access the system remotely and tweak it just a little bit and get it working. So I guess it doesn't hurt to complain to the top. Got results! And they have been very nice about it with phone calls from the President's office to make sure everything was working correctly.

So, with a sigh of relief, getting on to my card for the International Art & Soul challenge for this fortnight.
