Monthly Challenge - Girls of the Baker's Dozen - Babies

Hi friends, today I have 2 cards to share.  These are for an SCS group I belong too called Girls of the Baker's Dozen. Each month one of the girls sends out an envelope full of goodies to the rest of us including images, papers, embellishments.  Could be anything, but it's always fun.  We get to use what they send and add to it from our own stash if desired. I'm usually behind in getting mine done. These are from a kit sent by Zella (russnzella if you're on SCS).  They are all about babies.  I had to do one boy and one girl.

The images and paper are from Zella's envelope.  I added the flowers (Prima with yellow brads) and ribbon (Stampin Up) and the cardstock (Stampin Up Baja Breeze).  I used my Copic Markers to color the images - BG01, BG11, YR21, YR23, YR24.

I just loved using both these images, but this bunny is so cute.  It's from Whimsey Stamps.  Zella also sent the sentiment image (not sure where it's from), the button, and the papers that I used.  I added the cardstock base (Stampin Up Rose Romance), the wide ribbon (I believe also from SU), the twine, and I inked on some  Stampin Up Blushing Bride around the image.  I used my Nestabilities scallop Rectangle die to cut out the image.  To color the image, I used my Copic Markers - B0000, C00, C4, C6; E30, E31, E33, E35; R21, $30; YR23, YR31.

These were so fun to put together and can't wait to get started on the next 2 envelopes that I have waiting for me.  Thanks Zella for some fun things to play with.

Inspector Em - CCC #70

Happy Tuesday my friends.  I hope you're having a great day. Yesterday was a crazy day at work.  We've used WordPerfect at my job for as long as I can remember, but now are switching over to Word.  I mostly have an anxiety attack every day because I have to know something in Word right then that I haven't learned how to do yet.  :(  I've been doing pretty well on my own learning new things using Word, but a Table of Contents is pretty intense and complicated. Each day is a new one and each day gets me closer to being more adept at using Word.

It's much more fun to be making cards and doing some creating in my stamp room.  Today is the day for Creative Card Crew's latest challenge. The theme for this challenge is Steampunk/Urban. I'm still learning about Steampunk, but it's a fun process.

Hi Friends and Happy Thursday!  It's still Summer here, but for the 1st time since 1997, we have gotten through the month of August without having the temperature reach 100 degrees.  I think I would enjoy that more if I had my own car back to drive with working A/C.  That's right.  The car has been at the dealer this time (#6) for over a week.  I can only hope that they are rebuilding the A/C from scratch. ;)  No worries; I'm still driving their Equinox.  I'm even getting used to driving it.  It's so big!
