CCC<p> Hello, friends. I hope you are having a great day. We have finally started having some warmer weather. So happy for that. I hope it lasts now that February is almost over. Yikes!! I can't believe we are two months into the new year.</p><p>Today I have a card to share with you. This is for the SCS Creative Card Chicks forum. Each month we have a hostess who either sends a card kit to the other members or gives them some sort of a challenge to do. This month it was my turn to be hostess. I decided to do a challenge. It is to honor our team member, Debby, who passed away last year. She was really into livestock shows and 4H and loved animals. The challenge is to make a Thinking of You card using any kind of animal image (NOT one with wings) that you want to use. It would be great if it were some kind of livestock animal, but that doesn't have to be the case. I decided to use this cute Ewe image from SU Farm Fever.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8kJ5QiKwb2QC-208OnjV8xhiPdiZcah2t1Fq5X8h4S5WAv42qKqu0Ee6ZaFHDdOytfpDdcfTv5Y3awKlq4magXAn5LMSSXo_U7b7bqxIS-c_t15JaCMHJUFLzDL9lod0YbgvW8puI_YniysuiNsxfaPhMGVLsyZxM6Oxk9KZ-kqccAZ6fixdrAfeoE_M/s1450/Maggie%20Ewe%20Okay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1135" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8kJ5QiKwb2QC-208OnjV8xhiPdiZcah2t1Fq5X8h4S5WAv42qKqu0Ee6ZaFHDdOytfpDdcfTv5Y3awKlq4magXAn5LMSSXo_U7b7bqxIS-c_t15JaCMHJUFLzDL9lod0YbgvW8puI_YniysuiNsxfaPhMGVLsyZxM6Oxk9KZ-kqccAZ6fixdrAfeoE_M/s320/Maggie%20Ewe%20Okay.jpg" width="250" /></a></div>This was pretty simple. I used Lili of the Valley (retired) Nit Wit Enchantment collection designer paper and just a small piece of ribbon. The couple Copic markers were E00; N7, and W2.<br /><p><br /></p>Margarethttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01174380245343404465noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1519719294737619245.post-39878205484974510272024-02-11T11:54:00.005-06:002024-02-11T11:55:18.220-06:00Playing Catchup - Barb's Cards<p> Hello, my friends. I hope you are having a great Sunday. So far it is good here where I live although there is stormy weather off to the North of H Town. It's hard to believe that it is almost the middle of February and I only have a week and a half left in one of my classes. Then just one for another seven weeks. </p><p>I've been working on purging my craft room of a plethora of crafting supplies. As I've been going through things, I've pulled out some that I'm hoping to sell, some things I just trashed, but the majority I'm taking to a donation center and hope that everything will find a new home. In addition, I'm going through all my old photos from when my children were born until the beginning of digital photos. That's going back quite a few years since my daughters have both reached the big 50. I'd like to start scrapbooking some of them, but in the meantime, I want to get them digitized to save them. I'm surprised that they are still in pretty good shape except the color in the really old ones is not so good. I hope the computer will help clear them up a bit. </p><p>In the meantime, I have been working on some cards. These are mostly for the Card Kit group I belong to. There are six of us and each month one of us is the recipient of card kits from the other five members. We each got to pick two months that we wanted to receive cards and then we are able to pick the them of the card kits we receive. I had April (Masculine) and October (Thinking of You). I still have card kits from 2023 that I have not posted all of the cards that I made from the kits. Today I have four cards from two kits that I got from Barb (barbaralynn). Sadly I don't have all the information for how I made these cards. The first two card shown here are from last April (masculine). I think Barb did a great job with the kit that she sent me for these. The top one did not need any coloring. I did use Copics and a gold gel pen for card #2.<br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXKHyYcDlxUld42c8wRBm33sHYzOvM_jieaTNrwOywo-GrQ-qpQIPyJwK8DIkY-o5Yf-Vk2T50c7lW5U5Au3oFOWbbSaxJAf56RFeu0-MjNN2qjZKFd7s_pBQWPhqZwLWVby142HuFy9iR8ZGAYLONIDX_5JsyblB-ftlMuuUKjdDD8GMpLDSHDZ8WQPc/s1450/Barb%20Kit%20%232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1208" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXKHyYcDlxUld42c8wRBm33sHYzOvM_jieaTNrwOywo-GrQ-qpQIPyJwK8DIkY-o5Yf-Vk2T50c7lW5U5Au3oFOWbbSaxJAf56RFeu0-MjNN2qjZKFd7s_pBQWPhqZwLWVby142HuFy9iR8ZGAYLONIDX_5JsyblB-ftlMuuUKjdDD8GMpLDSHDZ8WQPc/s320/Barb%20Kit%20%232.jpg" width="267" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQaySa_WN_-Hq8ecKaoHe20gxDRSWchPdbsiFxUKHK_uwYsMNPKckdGPAlZA8KgaFQGdER5qxdmOvla4BiHYzXs_TdVsA7lv-qGALMmFCLU1IlaXg6G5ecz9KFySaMjnY2lOAJ_Y0EcdLaDrDnGzaZXtUuVOEfVFqqwTUz9vWs6wWoIm91IuucE7cmFX0/s1450/Barb%20Kit%20%231.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1150" data-original-width="1450" height="254" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQaySa_WN_-Hq8ecKaoHe20gxDRSWchPdbsiFxUKHK_uwYsMNPKckdGPAlZA8KgaFQGdER5qxdmOvla4BiHYzXs_TdVsA7lv-qGALMmFCLU1IlaXg6G5ecz9KFySaMjnY2lOAJ_Y0EcdLaDrDnGzaZXtUuVOEfVFqqwTUz9vWs6wWoIm91IuucE7cmFX0/s320/Barb%20Kit%20%231.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><p>This second set of cards was for last October (Thinking of You). The Copic markers were R81, R83; G21, G24; Y15 and Y17. I added some ribbon and a couple of enamel dots along with the sentiment using SU window punch.<br /></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRDQ6E6DEmvXV8c833Brmf9RdME559FyFSnMVWa_b-j2itXPIbA4TMVbsYlDm4a5LaVmDfFggvwDDegcSWWn_0HFWdx1dvtz7lF3Nv9_GYv_AtARN4PlqC1TlfzWZm1UtRfVJSNwPjQFlcBqp57_AKeIbXS9cYVMrC3FV_Ny8GQPNjYTuAVzSCFpITCIg/s1450/Barb%20Oct%20Kit%20%231.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1128" data-original-width="1450" height="249" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRDQ6E6DEmvXV8c833Brmf9RdME559FyFSnMVWa_b-j2itXPIbA4TMVbsYlDm4a5LaVmDfFggvwDDegcSWWn_0HFWdx1dvtz7lF3Nv9_GYv_AtARN4PlqC1TlfzWZm1UtRfVJSNwPjQFlcBqp57_AKeIbXS9cYVMrC3FV_Ny8GQPNjYTuAVzSCFpITCIg/s320/Barb%20Oct%20Kit%20%231.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRKazhm82dXZ0IJD5EW3Nryik9oep0L4HttS3YlJc_FWO0gNBpcA-TQWGiIM8VlMdYVdRjW2kHBtFLic1rBEps93V_HT7I2BSPbIcbW34BngTp779GcaaV3eu3GR_S3oMDeG_rxM8K_jauujPqa-b_2nVB6575asjtV337g_E8oX9Y3VO9IYKWTXnkL5I/s1450/Barb%20Oct%20Kit%20%232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1110" data-original-width="1450" height="245" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRKazhm82dXZ0IJD5EW3Nryik9oep0L4HttS3YlJc_FWO0gNBpcA-TQWGiIM8VlMdYVdRjW2kHBtFLic1rBEps93V_HT7I2BSPbIcbW34BngTp779GcaaV3eu3GR_S3oMDeG_rxM8K_jauujPqa-b_2nVB6575asjtV337g_E8oX9Y3VO9IYKWTXnkL5I/s320/Barb%20Oct%20Kit%20%232.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p>For this card I used Stampin Up Raspberry Ripple for the card base and

I hope everyone is doing well today. We are having a little bit warmer temps today. It's so nice to see the sun shining. It should be this way all week. After a month of cold and rain, I'm happy to have the sunshine again.</p><p>Today I have a card to share for the SCS Challenge Your Stash challenge. Every month there is a hostess who selects the theme for the month and then the rest of the group will make a card using that theme and only items in their stash. No new things are to be purchased to make our cards. For this month our hostess was Anne (jsmommy). She posted "We have a number of January birthdays on my family, all men. Make a Winter birthday card for a man." I took a little license with my card. I did try to keep it masculine with the designer paper i used and not to add any bling to it. It's winter and I think a snowman can be masculine and it says Happy Birthday.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOu-209UvcwHg2Sa7zLiyeZNm3FhGLveReoiF5PhwwPAkESdhbQVeDGD-s6WETonA6IQDc-zx53NPa27mW1w4qEhk18xW-3NwYuGndcNEwgoscxm-RSkN67eH9IntWQijaBzmjB2RJd4h-lCRh4QpAdng3zTQ3G_K9j-3KOBN3Dwgj6yCr3nH-04yX_ug/s1450/Male%20WInter%20Birthday.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1162" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOu-209UvcwHg2Sa7zLiyeZNm3FhGLveReoiF5PhwwPAkESdhbQVeDGD-s6WETonA6IQDc-zx53NPa27mW1w4qEhk18xW-3NwYuGndcNEwgoscxm-RSkN67eH9IntWQijaBzmjB2RJd4h-lCRh4QpAdng3zTQ3G_K9j-3KOBN3Dwgj6yCr3nH-04yX_ug/s320/Male%20WInter%20Birthday.jpg" width="256" /></a></div><br /><p>The image is from Inky Antics. The sentiment is from See D's (an old stamp set) Piece of Cake. I used Stampin Up Baja Breeze for the mats and card base and My Mind's Eye (MME) Lost and Found collection. The coloring was done with Copic markers. </p><p>Thanks Anne for a fun challenge.<br /></p><p> </p><p><br /></p>Margarethttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01174380245343404465noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1519719294737619245.post-63724314755472722412024-01-21T15:43:00.001-06:002024-01-21T15:43:43.254-06:00Friendly Hello - Creative Card Chicks<p> Hello, my friends. I hope you are all doing well. It's a very chilly day down here in H Town as it has been for the last week or more. I'm ready for it to be over. I do have an almost new addition to my house. The night before we were to have our hard freeze with temps down in the upper teens, I brought Frosty, one of my outside kitties inside. She's the friendly one. She has been staying in a small separate room away from the other inside kitties until I can take her to the vet and get her examined to make sure she doesn't have any contagious disease after ten years of living outside (seven with me). She has an appointment for tomorrow. If she passes, then we'll see if she and the other inside kitties will get along with each other. Hopefully they will and she'll be able to stay inside. I'm not making any other decision until we see what happens tomorrow.</p><p>For now, I do have a card to share with you. This is for the SCS Creative Card Chicks Monthly Challenge. It's made with an image that we have used before. This month our hostess was Sue (stampinspooky). She picked the image for us to use. The stamp set was previously gifted to us by Kelly. We were to use our own supplies to make at least one card for the challenge. We always post our cards between the 21st and 23rd of each month. I can't believe I'm actually on time this month. Will wonders never cease!<br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcsmvmctPzSehxN2-OwI8u0Mz3LSgJUFlwUo-j_2DEYwd148kY9yQ6kxdKpoLOMnk9FHyMBuCFyyTmBwSLBASzIiaFaJFAMPwZ5bUQ1vZ0CpcPoKyLRpn7LNjZK3CqUBbJrFeNT94WapCKP8aQWJVxt2Sc51PNcWL5BgrM_tLzbc1A7U31B7Dvc-ym4EE/s1450/Sue%20Friendly%20Hello%202.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1159" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcsmvmctPzSehxN2-OwI8u0Mz3LSgJUFlwUo-j_2DEYwd148kY9yQ6kxdKpoLOMnk9FHyMBuCFyyTmBwSLBASzIiaFaJFAMPwZ5bUQ1vZ0CpcPoKyLRpn7LNjZK3CqUBbJrFeNT94WapCKP8aQWJVxt2Sc51PNcWL5BgrM_tLzbc1A7U31B7Dvc-ym4EE/s320/Sue%20Friendly%20Hello%202.jpg" width="256" /></a></div>I used Authentique Delightful collection for the designer paper and Stampin Up Soft Sky for the card base and mats. I only needed a few Copic markers to color up the image and added a bit of bling and the card was done. I'm liking simple and easy these days, but wish I had more time to create. <br /><p><br /></p>Margarethttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01174380245343404465noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1519719294737619245.post-23903025343527701862024-01-05T17:49:00.001-06:002024-01-05T17:49:42.799-06:00Chocolate -- Challenge Your Stash<p> Hello again. Here I am with card number three for today. Yes, I'm playing catch up. This card is for the SCS Challenge Your Stash monthly challenge. Each month there is a hostess who picks the theme for the month. Then all the players make a card using only the items they already have in their stash - we are not to purchase anything new to use. We are supposed to post our cards on the 28th but as you can see, I'm running way late. If you look at my other December post, you'll see why - lots going on in my household.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuIkHzaXNK849gFyu_zOCTAwWqLlValOKc1HK1-EXhsUzloF3qlBC7dmhgpUEanA6xS3x8a325KWnLTXNxbpqwFzg6CkFfqiDuZRoeFMRKn4bEDhcQ0AVonE4VIrnXla1_tM6is4tR34QFBjF1fEXItzxVj221LWaCXCVSloelOoaYnpJWORhZM8rSVjI/s1450/Dec%20Lisa%20Chocolate.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1129" data-original-width="1450" height="249" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuIkHzaXNK849gFyu_zOCTAwWqLlValOKc1HK1-EXhsUzloF3qlBC7dmhgpUEanA6xS3x8a325KWnLTXNxbpqwFzg6CkFfqiDuZRoeFMRKn4bEDhcQ0AVonE4VIrnXla1_tM6is4tR34QFBjF1fEXItzxVj221LWaCXCVSloelOoaYnpJWORhZM8rSVjI/s320/Dec%20Lisa%20Chocolate.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p>Our hostess for December was Lisa and she posted her theme - <b>Dec 28th is National Chocolate Day. Use chocolate or chocolate color as the main theme of your card. </b>I did use SU Chocolate Chip cards stock and had chocolates in the image on my card. I hope that was enough. I think you could use this for a birthday or for Valentine's Day. <br /></p>Margarethttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01174380245343404465noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1519719294737619245.post-55168294906338358362024-01-05T17:37:00.000-06:002024-01-05T17:37:43.488-06:00Penguins - December CCC Monthly Challenge<p> Well, I am back again to share another late challenge for the Creative Card Chicks. The month of December was another busy month including Christmas. I did forget to mention that I had cataract surgery on my left eye back in November and have been having follow up appointments for that. Then in December I had another low back procedure - a lumbar radial ablation where the doctor burns the nerves that have been causing back pain. I'm still not sure after a month whether the procedure worked or not. I also have bursitis in that right side, so some of the pain I'm experiencing now could be as a result of that. I'll check on that when I have my follow up appointment in about ten days. I have also been having pain in my left wrist. (I know - don't get old - you get all kinds of aches and pains). The orthopedist diagnosed me with tendonitis in that wrist. It took a month though before he would actually do anything about it. I went in after Christmas and he gave me an injection in that wrist. That hurt like crazy!!!!!!!!! It sort of feels somewhat better, but not 100% and I still get a little kink in it every now and then. It also started bruising about a week after I had the injection. Not sure why it took that long for the bruising to show up. I have quit wearing my brace unless I'm doing something very strenuous. I'm hoping that it will get better over more time.</p><p>So, here is my card. This one was for December and the kit was sent to us by Terry. She sent a few images and I picked this one. It is from Memory Box. We were to add one other color to it since the images were black and white as well as the designer paper Terry sent us. I chose to use pink and added some pink ribbon to the card. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjuwNQHei-qJdAD2PYZqKleeevQAvVxjHmlgAcQgwLeVtbkKkZHrXMOWRahyphenhyphenxdKQr12RDK15ZFUKfP0RYgGl9hjjJu1j7XIHs7j4h_LL9DWvgGEQ8Ra7f0WgWw0lRy_Pt_cj3ATkDpha_scxz9Aif8SYhqmblGg9PFaK9uuDGOhWIjSuTwzHffJioLIq4/s1450/Terry%20Penguins%20Dec.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1139" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjuwNQHei-qJdAD2PYZqKleeevQAvVxjHmlgAcQgwLeVtbkKkZHrXMOWRahyphenhyphenxdKQr12RDK15ZFUKfP0RYgGl9hjjJu1j7XIHs7j4h_LL9DWvgGEQ8Ra7f0WgWw0lRy_Pt_cj3ATkDpha_scxz9Aif8SYhqmblGg9PFaK9uuDGOhWIjSuTwzHffJioLIq4/s320/Terry%20Penguins%20Dec.jpg" width="251" /></a></div>Thanks Terry for the fun kit. I still have some images and paper left over so I'll probably make some more cards during the year. <br /><p><br /></p>Margarethttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01174380245343404465noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1519719294737619245.post-49294369315017892242024-01-05T17:15:00.001-06:002024-01-05T17:15:38.404-06:00November CCC - Fond of Autumn<p> Hello, my friends. It has been way too long since I've posted anything here on my blog. The last three months of 2023 have been packed with all kinds of things going on that were vying for my attention rather than posting here. After my October birthday month, I went on a long weekend cruise with my two daughters, a granddaughter, a grandson, and a son-in-law. We cruised down to Cozumel, Mexico. It was my first time there, but I had been to Puerto Vallarta way back when my girls were in high school. The cruise was great. We had a sea day down, then all day Saturday in Cozumel, and then a sea day back to Galveston. Royal Caribbean really knows how to treat you on their cruises</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgk-PtHvtsJWvdPjfY6mXvehM_VOV4R2d3XOmbzwBqtiJAt9C_SS6yulhy1iz33ES1yO4hyphenhyphen9U8-cjnNrwml0KY96CdQI9GIc-SLs-eAFNUf2OsaWCVD2G3GGKlGhT8mOHIgNZTw1vJWG5dTA8hbW-5iq_aLI35cLcHwMQ9R6496hjieEX0ZF7zGoY0A4go/s4032/IMG_20231111_151738.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="4032" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgk-PtHvtsJWvdPjfY6mXvehM_VOV4R2d3XOmbzwBqtiJAt9C_SS6yulhy1iz33ES1yO4hyphenhyphen9U8-cjnNrwml0KY96CdQI9GIc-SLs-eAFNUf2OsaWCVD2G3GGKlGhT8mOHIgNZTw1vJWG5dTA8hbW-5iq_aLI35cLcHwMQ9R6496hjieEX0ZF7zGoY0A4go/s320/IMG_20231111_151738.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQa3uMTUp5XbQI8EUuEdNpfZXSnSurMwdGKXBuZHbWi3XijXfvs-YC6qSxIYM64yWZhI3lsDfZMmG1lt5wpqLYzDIoT9ZUTfW75HQ3NajC6qtLfZYXmHAUE_AomnQ7jCDiRt76c2Ehifx4WYOp16zDGdfnmn7P9im-M9TgnqfP4vtX0ybjggVokpA4TN4/s4032/IMG_20231111_111201.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="4032" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQa3uMTUp5XbQI8EUuEdNpfZXSnSurMwdGKXBuZHbWi3XijXfvs-YC6qSxIYM64yWZhI3lsDfZMmG1lt5wpqLYzDIoT9ZUTfW75HQ3NajC6qtLfZYXmHAUE_AomnQ7jCDiRt76c2Ehifx4WYOp16zDGdfnmn7P9im-M9TgnqfP4vtX0ybjggVokpA4TN4/s320/IMG_20231111_111201.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p>We went to the Mayan ruins, the Bee Sanctuary, made a stop at a beachside restaurant for lunch and a little bit of ocean time, and then the Chocolate Shop before heading back to the ship. It was a long day, but we had a great time.</p><p>Of course, then it was getting ready for Thanksgiving which I spent with my daughter here in Texas and her family. We enjoyed all the normal Thanksgiving dishes and some fun game time. With all that, it took me a while to get this card done even though it is pretty simple. This card was for the SCS Creative Card Chicks Monthly Challenge. Our hostess this month was our leader, Suzy. She sent us some images and some designer paper and we could use whatever embellishments we wanted. I didn't really use anything except what she sent and added my own cardstock for the base. The stamp set she used is SU Fond of Autumn and the matching dies Autumn Bouquet. I added my Copic markers and use the SU window punch for the sentiment and added an off center mat for the sentiment.<br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2HSQdvM_teNCni4yRqySTzUNQGG6ug_38NhGXNODTSr9tgSmVPhbmLFhY_7Pcpp6RpK1fyf-GJEMqQ1CtlBLo8AN5rekEni5qPp6NQOA1zmTd-qxNhlBijDtxW-tSiFKodnZ9p_daQsgZhz-djaIKq2-5MTAXSSibmvnap6-6aeQ4xBQfDIURsYS3Qn8/s1450/Suzy%20Nov%20Fond%20of%20Autumn.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1161" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2HSQdvM_teNCni4yRqySTzUNQGG6ug_38NhGXNODTSr9tgSmVPhbmLFhY_7Pcpp6RpK1fyf-GJEMqQ1CtlBLo8AN5rekEni5qPp6NQOA1zmTd-qxNhlBijDtxW-tSiFKodnZ9p_daQsgZhz-djaIKq2-5MTAXSSibmvnap6-6aeQ4xBQfDIURsYS3Qn8/s320/Suzy%20Nov%20Fond%20of%20Autumn.jpg" width="256" /></a></div><br /><p>The creative card chicks have been active for many years. The earliest thread I could find was from 2015. Each month there is a hostess who sends out a full kit her first month with images, some pattern paper and embellishments. For the second half of the year, the hostess's second kit will contain only images and pattern paper. The hostess also has the option for her second challenge to give us a theme and have us create something out of our stash. It's always fun to see when the hostess has in store for us. <br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /><br /></p>Margarethttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01174380245343404465noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1519719294737619245.post-79921872436803686592023-10-23T10:38:00.004-05:002023-10-23T10:38:59.903-05:00Pick of the Patch - CCC October<p> Hello my friends and Happy Monday. I hope you all had a great weekend. This has been a busy, but fun month for me. I celebrated a really BIG birthday on Saturday, but I've been celebrating with my family all month since my sister's birthday was on the 12th. </p><p>My cards for the Creative Card Chicks was due to be posted on Saturday, the 21st, but I was busy with finishing up some school work and then dinner with family. Each month the CCC has a hostess who either sends a kit or posts a challenge for us to follow. Then we will all make at least one card from the kit or for the challenge and post it between the 21 and 23 of each month. For October , Roxie was our hostess and sent us a Fall/Halloween themed kit. She sent us a little kit with lots of embellishments to use and also a couple of images if we wanted to use them. So far I was able to create two cards out of the kit and used some of each. These are both Fall or Thanksgiving cards.<br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7BPQRtpcRgkleb8LvnkFuuKHK5WL31SoPaQXhG1Udjv6XKkW9Y8q7w7A_QDYwK78zMh9irklYmNVrYjzAhW4DNoiw4DGSAudBqsLBA2XVs9j81nTuNl-PeFu5RsVNJ6MZVipUGDYGMrggE2tNI5P1J4e4wg9U7QrS4VdMU39mvQ3yXGo_t11gGutmO7Q/s1450/Roxie%20Oct%20Fall%20Leaves%20and%20Peaches.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1133" data-original-width="1450" height="250" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7BPQRtpcRgkleb8LvnkFuuKHK5WL31SoPaQXhG1Udjv6XKkW9Y8q7w7A_QDYwK78zMh9irklYmNVrYjzAhW4DNoiw4DGSAudBqsLBA2XVs9j81nTuNl-PeFu5RsVNJ6MZVipUGDYGMrggE2tNI5P1J4e4wg9U7QrS4VdMU39mvQ3yXGo_t11gGutmO7Q/s320/Roxie%20Oct%20Fall%20Leaves%20and%20Peaches.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><p>This one used the Stampin Up Apple Harvest stamp set although I colored them to look like peaches. The pumpkins came already stamped. I think this one is Stampin Up, Pick of the Patch stamped with Stampin Up Pumpkin Pie. Again, the designer paper is Stampin Up, All About Autumn. </p><p>Such a fun theme and kit. Thanks Roxie. <br /></p><p><br /></p>Margarethttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01174380245343404465noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1519719294737619245.post-34309197679413988112023-10-10T20:08:00.006-05:002023-10-10T20:08:48.254-05:00Carol's Card Kits <p>Hello my friends, and Happy Tuesday! I hope it's been a good start to your week. Yesterday was a long day. I have to have cataract surgery on my left eye. I'm hoping that will help a lot with the fuzziness I've been experiencing for some time now. I thought I'd have a quick doctor appointment, but no way. I was there for three hours!!!! Finally got it scheduled though for the middle of November. Not much got done after that since they had to dilate my eyes and I couldn't see clearly even by the time I went to bed. </p><p>Back to working on school work today. I hate having to think. LOL! Anyway, I do have two cards to share with you today. I belong to a card swap group. There are six of us in the group and so we each have two months of the year that we are the "hostess" or recipient of card kits from the other five members of the group. We get to pick the theme of our kits which is great so you can get the kind of cards you are wanting to make. This year I had April and October. I'm just now posting some of the cards from the kits I received back in April. Let's face it, I'm slow and I tend to procrastinate. The cards that I'm posting are from Carol aka momcgw on SCS. These were fun images.</p><p> The images are from Art Impressions Flying High stamp set. <br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgB70I4mMIP-xh4J4T8S0OWh8F9B44cJKR5PsZnGvsQY-sws42ZTPxnewAVQbwXWWxVf48xFN4BcCxKjEdi7hsY8I2Ap4VPpJgiWe2RwMWCTJPtakQKb2ygdkAPYaZ72ZTLLskDlBkleWXcSKV0LrYLBcS3pNe8uzPPY2lvOq8sPGu43yMdGDDGT5RR6h8/s1450/Carol%20Kit%20%231.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1131" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgB70I4mMIP-xh4J4T8S0OWh8F9B44cJKR5PsZnGvsQY-sws42ZTPxnewAVQbwXWWxVf48xFN4BcCxKjEdi7hsY8I2Ap4VPpJgiWe2RwMWCTJPtakQKb2ygdkAPYaZ72ZTLLskDlBkleWXcSKV0LrYLBcS3pNe8uzPPY2lvOq8sPGu43yMdGDDGT5RR6h8/s320/Carol%20Kit%20%231.jpg" width="250" /></a></div><p></p><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Cardstock: </b>Stampin Up Old Olive</div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Designer Paper</b>: Pink Paislee - Outfitters</div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Copic Markers</b>: E23, R11, YG63; YR12, and YR14</div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikTlD0RpRiCfRTHRkt0rMkrJm9tHAlwXECm-DW_jRfG6TJcMghtrE61mpaqvd-_abzLUWC3cItnkPD8YGMelMTO2vbwXnpbQBmsHwSVdpfD2SsqFNw1L6Zcd-g0GH7Bd9T9IKAZP4R_CE-jLB3uap9EWqknTJobAyE2H4fmPaslPtmHYmBBriOzmG3sks/s1450/Carols%20Kit%20%232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1371" data-original-width="1450" height="303" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikTlD0RpRiCfRTHRkt0rMkrJm9tHAlwXECm-DW_jRfG6TJcMghtrE61mpaqvd-_abzLUWC3cItnkPD8YGMelMTO2vbwXnpbQBmsHwSVdpfD2SsqFNw1L6Zcd-g0GH7Bd9T9IKAZP4R_CE-jLB3uap9EWqknTJobAyE2H4fmPaslPtmHYmBBriOzmG3sks/s320/Carols%20Kit%20%232.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Card stock</b>: Stampin Up Confetti White</div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Designer Paper: </b>Pink Paislee - Outfitters<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Copic Markers: </b>B0000, B01; E23, E25; E50, E51, E53; N0, N1, N2, N4; Y15; YR11, YR18, YR24, and YR27</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thanks for the fun card kit, Carol.<br /></div><p><br /><br /></p><p></p>Margarethttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01174380245343404465noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1519719294737619245.post-60585391865165409972023-10-08T19:55:00.003-05:002023-10-08T19:55:53.154-05:00Glenda Gnome<p> Hello, my friends. I hope you are having a great weekend. After a month or more of triple digit temperatures, I woke up this morning to 55* and now it's 69*. Nothing in Texas is half way. I'm sure it will warm up some over the coming days, but I hear there is another cold front heading our way next weekend. Time to get out the long pants and sweaters.</p><p>Friday was the first Friday of the month, so it was time for another Pattie's Creations card to share. It is always Anything Goes at Pattie's Creations, but this month we also had an Autumn/Fall theme to use if desired. I thought this image of Glenda Gnome was so cute. I've really taken a liking to gnome images.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmy8Y6vIOQ05Rc020Z6o5raELneCSUrrPWFrRI-coVDUSYHyunSRH2ypJBPSsPpr3lCO4BuWgfOdXhTkqz5qKRocJsi10TDGJPgvbS7Z74ARtrn6hc50-8cPqa2j8Pbr48ef_A0QIvA_8QQdP6OZJFJeGAQC5TR1NFfIUpSrjlCcsmaDuKzyvndl3cjF0/s1450/October%20Glenda%20Gnome.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1141" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmy8Y6vIOQ05Rc020Z6o5raELneCSUrrPWFrRI-coVDUSYHyunSRH2ypJBPSsPpr3lCO4BuWgfOdXhTkqz5qKRocJsi10TDGJPgvbS7Z74ARtrn6hc50-8cPqa2j8Pbr48ef_A0QIvA_8QQdP6OZJFJeGAQC5TR1NFfIUpSrjlCcsmaDuKzyvndl3cjF0/s320/October%20Glenda%20Gnome.jpg" width="252" /></a></div><br /><p> <b>Materials Used:</b></p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Image</b> - Pattie's Creations - Glenda Gnome</li><li><b>Sentiment</b> - Sticker from stash</li><li><b>Card stock</b> - Stampin Up Pumpkin Pie; Xpress It Blending Card</li><li><b>Designer Paper</b> - Bo Bunny Fright Delight collection</li><li><b>Accessories </b>- Jolee's Boutique - Spider</li><li><b>Copic Markers</b> - E23, E25, E29; E40, E41; N7; V15, V17; YG93, YG95; YR02, YR04</li></ul><p></p><p>I hope you'll take the time to pop on over to <a href="https://pattiescreationschallenge.blogspot.com/">Pattie's Creations</a>

This is an open group and anyone can join. Each month there is a hostess who picks the theme for the month, then everyone else makes a card following that theme and using only items that are in our stash. No new things are to be purchased. It's a lot of fun and helps me to think outside the box at time. This month I was the hostess and my theme was to do a CAS card - clean and simple which means no embellishments to clutter it up.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEtSv2S2I0kBVuUriVcWApFEhv7zyPIchegUNGzm2dcuCsQg9HzA4TqZwVnMlyozKR9xr3PALjutrf7T4oWViQlu7DsAGgNDwhRrjZrYvgVJCXvaBHIYVjEl6GCEazQ0eMN5eSUv0si2mbRQEMNYpmQZrTPrUAYZKVhWEN9c1Zxb7wHfqCBhe__THQdy8/s1450/Gnome%20Home.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="716" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEtSv2S2I0kBVuUriVcWApFEhv7zyPIchegUNGzm2dcuCsQg9HzA4TqZwVnMlyozKR9xr3PALjutrf7T4oWViQlu7DsAGgNDwhRrjZrYvgVJCXvaBHIYVjEl6GCEazQ0eMN5eSUv0si2mbRQEMNYpmQZrTPrUAYZKVhWEN9c1Zxb7wHfqCBhe__THQdy8/s320/Gnome%20Home.jpg" width="158" /></a></div><p>I thought this gnome was quite delightful. It's Tuesday here and I'm back with some more cards to show you. Spent most of the day on classwork. Lots of reading to do. Glad to take a break. </p><p>I've got two cards to share with you today. I belong to a card swap group. There are six of us in the group. Twice a year we each get to be the recipient of card kits from the other five members of the group. We each get to pick the two months we want to receive our kits and the theme of our kits which is fun. I'm really late posting these cards since my month was back in April. I just haven't had the time to sit down and play with the kits until now. My theme for April was Masculine, so all the kits sent to me had a masculine theme to them. </p><p>This first set of cards was from Terry and her images and embellishments had a sports theme. Great cards for guys. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgelPA_Nb0W5370439d44TnV0j8nM6hAXvvWcdgK4TXQ261zPtA1y7RiDG4J5O8bhoQjAqclGhpYRPH3-CqS9AzaMT-EcGp26nZ-oOhljhXG_nxw92jKx5cEyou4LNljDkH6ROVXsimaKCU-kl8DEGnyhWM20EyDCLGmPImMRv71_Ra3YEa9-hyT7QfbKU/s1450/Terry%20Kit%20%231.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1172" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgelPA_Nb0W5370439d44TnV0j8nM6hAXvvWcdgK4TXQ261zPtA1y7RiDG4J5O8bhoQjAqclGhpYRPH3-CqS9AzaMT-EcGp26nZ-oOhljhXG_nxw92jKx5cEyou4LNljDkH6ROVXsimaKCU-kl8DEGnyhWM20EyDCLGmPImMRv71_Ra3YEa9-hyT7QfbKU/s320/Terry%20Kit%20%231.jpg" width="259" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcQsjAyr0V4si-dF_ZopAJ7IhOHeDz0D_Wj7U4Ce9qr58PISxAqgHtE6RXtuNpwwbDLzWK_ORXvqCXuvNhc7sLajykgdOqpNwrcrkih3c8bjmTqDhFny0eTWaBc3WW91xlSzz2_WdploU74OcA9q6IM1OC4wtvWZm5JqlGAVEL0r3dgcgEfYtIoKrAILc/s1450/Terry%20Kit%20%232%20All%20Star.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1097" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcQsjAyr0V4si-dF_ZopAJ7IhOHeDz0D_Wj7U4Ce9qr58PISxAqgHtE6RXtuNpwwbDLzWK_ORXvqCXuvNhc7sLajykgdOqpNwrcrkih3c8bjmTqDhFny0eTWaBc3WW91xlSzz2_WdploU74OcA9q6IM1OC4wtvWZm5JqlGAVEL0r3dgcgEfYtIoKrAILc/s320/Terry%20Kit%20%232%20All%20Star.jpg" width="242" /></a></div><p>For both cards, the images come from The Angel Company, who are no longer in business, but great images. Happy Monday. I hope all is going well where you are. We were blessed to have rain today - twice! So happy to see it. </p><p>It's been a crazy month so far. I was out of town for a long weekend vacation and then came back to classes starting, so I had to dive right back into learning. I'm in week 3 now, so things are moving along. One of the classes that is a requirement for my certificate is Office Procedures. Part of that class is that I have to do a typing test every week besides practice for 50 minutes every week. It's crazy. I worked in an office for over 40+ years. Well, it's going okay. I only did 43 wpm on my first test so I only have to bring that up 25% over the course of the semester.</p><p>On Friday I had facet joint injections in my low back - 3 on each side. It seems to be helping, but I'm giving it at least a week to see if it has really done some good. </p><p>Yes, I do have a card to share with you for the Creative Card Chicks Monthly Challenge on SCS. Each month we have a hostess who sends out a kit to the rest of us and we all make at least one card from the kit to share. This month our hostess was Vikkijo and she sent the cutest kit with this adorable hedgehog image. I saw a FB post yesterday of a real-life hedgehog scooting around a garden. It was so cute. I think I'd love to have one, but I don't think my kitties would like it very much.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx3HXwA7oeCAt5dCgVAU7cbpFm3o9I2uW6UQS393jk2LoL3v3zuFNPRiAdfl-bk2rspOP1ojUgeEAJye8ec-yNUKeTyZAXd06xd1dXyFWa32T-ViQl85E1lvMpDaack9zGr5lgXKPQzMYLgXF3Jg76NFSu3Wro3jH0AkFwAdRCVr9u0YONPgBXwYELVUY/s1450/Vikki%20Jo%20Sept%20Hedgehog%20birthday.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1165" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx3HXwA7oeCAt5dCgVAU7cbpFm3o9I2uW6UQS393jk2LoL3v3zuFNPRiAdfl-bk2rspOP1ojUgeEAJye8ec-yNUKeTyZAXd06xd1dXyFWa32T-ViQl85E1lvMpDaack9zGr5lgXKPQzMYLgXF3Jg76NFSu3Wro3jH0AkFwAdRCVr9u0YONPgBXwYELVUY/s320/Vikki%20Jo%20Sept%20Hedgehog%20birthday.jpg" width="257" /></a></div><p>All the supplies were sent in the kit by Vikki Jo. I used my own cardstock which is Stampin Up So Saffron. The image was colored with Copic Markers - B0000; E30, E31, E33, and E37; Y15 and Y17.</p><p>Thanks Vikki Jo for a fun kit. I have plenty more supplies to work with. <br /></p>Margarethttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01174380245343404465noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1519719294737619245.post-4116819008792447472023-09-03T16:36:00.000-05:002023-09-03T16:36:04.117-05:00Jelly Boots - Pattie's CreationsThe<p> Hello my friends. Happy Sunday. I can't believe it's September already. We're told though that we will still be having higher temps and drier days. We are supposed to have some scattered showers tomorrow so perhaps we'll get some rain. </p><p>I'm just a little late with this card for Pattie's Creations. I should have posted it on Friday since it is the first Friday of the month. The theme for this month is School Days or as always, Anything Goes. The Jelly Boots and Umbrella reminded me of my school days walking to school, rain or shine. Back in the day, we lived close enough to the school that we didn't get a bus ride, but it was still a pretty good hike. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhvWo0vHuIMtq67uouomciyXFb68JNcomwg_gSaGgLwR-QoDNXVls0FUBeVGKtretHxHum-Ig3SEgP8YRgq9VpCZaf9vUEjUwtncP1SY9j8EzERea0_BpiHcv7jUs54IUmMBKmGSKIRAA1g7tZLsjoRQIgKiIaScJYk4Bam-QxeNwv1skEaVkF4hA33Go/s1450/September%20Jelly%20Boots.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1174" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhvWo0vHuIMtq67uouomciyXFb68JNcomwg_gSaGgLwR-QoDNXVls0FUBeVGKtretHxHum-Ig3SEgP8YRgq9VpCZaf9vUEjUwtncP1SY9j8EzERea0_BpiHcv7jUs54IUmMBKmGSKIRAA1g7tZLsjoRQIgKiIaScJYk4Bam-QxeNwv1skEaVkF4hA33Go/s320/September%20Jelly%20Boots.jpg" width="259" /></a></div><br /><p>Materials Used:</p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li>Image - Pattie's Creations - Jelly Boots and Umbrella</li><li>Sentiment - Hero Arts - Spring Sayings</li><li>Cardstock - Stampin Up Marina Mist; Xpress It Blending Card</li><li>Designer Paper - Kaiser Kraft - Paradise</li><li>Accessories - Gold metallic twine; bling drops</li><li>Copic Markers - BG000, BG01, BG02; E08, E13, E23</li></ul><p>I hope you'll take the time to pop on over to <a href="https://pattiescreationschallenge.blogspot.com/">Pattie's Creations</a> challenge and see what the rest of the design team has created. I do hope you are not in the way of any of the stormy weather that is hitting our country right now. For those in the path of Idelia, I send up prayers that you will be safe and no harm will come to you or your family. </p><p>I'm a little late in getting my card posted for the Challenge Your Stash challenge on SCS for August. We are to post on the 28th of each month, but life was busy and I was late getting my card done. Each month we have a hostess who picks the theme for the month. Then we all make our card with that theme in mind and using only items we have in our stash - nothing new is to be purchased to make our card. I never have a problem with that with all the inventory I have in my stash. I did use a stamp that I've had for a long time, but have not used before. It's from Whiff of Joy stamp company which went out of business back in 2015. I was sorry to see them go. The theme for the month of August was chosen by Lorraine (smhtwin on SCS). Her theme is "Here's what's cooking." Make a card that has a stamped image or
cooking/kitchen-theme DP of anything you would find in a kitchen: food,
pots and pans, oven mitts, blender, drinking glasses, etc.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHZD6xp6HYFni9FHN9q0uv_nEtyAwT4e2jeAW_DmWyqFvfAaQQCBoRUZMo2RvoO1s_Nr8oQwIQr1VCaIYae6ONNQEcgQhSau6ccvylr2nZyM0Xk8VzUkko6zsXT8ZlAVUTwmMc7j6Gc7arZa2KcpIbbKGC-qtzoNjIQ2voUa6P18fjJroeWx_Yi8oQNe4/s1450/September%20Feel%20Better.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1395" data-original-width="1450" height="308" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHZD6xp6HYFni9FHN9q0uv_nEtyAwT4e2jeAW_DmWyqFvfAaQQCBoRUZMo2RvoO1s_Nr8oQwIQr1VCaIYae6ONNQEcgQhSau6ccvylr2nZyM0Xk8VzUkko6zsXT8ZlAVUTwmMc7j6Gc7arZa2KcpIbbKGC-qtzoNjIQ2voUa6P18fjJroeWx_Yi8oQNe4/s320/September%20Feel%20Better.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /> Materials Used:<p></p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li>Image - WOJ - Feeling Better in the Morning</li><li>Sentiment - Hero Arts - Ribbon Messages</li><li>Card Stock - Stampin Up - Real Red</li><li>Designer Paper - Simple Stories - Summer</li><li>Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black</li><li>Accessories - Ribbon (SU?), sequins</li><li>Copic Markers - B000, B01, E000, E00, E11, E21, E23, E25; G000, G00; R14, R17; Y23, Y26</li></ul><p>That's all for today. It's still very HOT and steamy down here in H Town. Unfortunately we did not get any of the rain from Tropical Storm Harold. It was all south of us. Everything is just drying up. I've been using my sprinkler system since it's been so hot, but even so, that doesn't really do it. We need a good rain. Also, this morning they announced a voluntary cut back on water usage here. I hate to go outside. I feel so sorry for my poor outside kitties who have to live in this, but they do have the patio and many places to get out of the sun and find some shade. They seem to be holding up very well. </p><p>I'm a little bit late getting my cards posted for the Creative Card Chicks Monthly Challenge. It's been a busy week so far. Each month we have a hostess who sends out a card kit for the rest to use to make at least one card to share. This month it was my turn to be the hostess and I chose to use the Inkadinkadoo stamp kit - Friendly Characters. They are fun images for kids or adults. I'm including both of my cards here.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyBl5k4uHNEktIOBwZbBX6q7vbcPNFMuGy-z-EaG2Y-9h9th9047kI7OWPEkXnBD6H_qHPfaswaMeu_nGZv-qVdHGeLrAPjHgzjjO8-qiQLlJgguu9c4XoZ5U_dqapEBIbC-DVE9lWdT4bTC1J3PbUjWc3_RhXxMyeKqrP0Aq2Q62AUL2KGDqu7I5FlGc/s1450/Maggie%20August%20Udderly.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1228" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyBl5k4uHNEktIOBwZbBX6q7vbcPNFMuGy-z-EaG2Y-9h9th9047kI7OWPEkXnBD6H_qHPfaswaMeu_nGZv-qVdHGeLrAPjHgzjjO8-qiQLlJgguu9c4XoZ5U_dqapEBIbC-DVE9lWdT4bTC1J3PbUjWc3_RhXxMyeKqrP0Aq2Q62AUL2KGDqu7I5FlGc/s320/Maggie%20August%20Udderly.jpg" width="271" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPf2EwMtKFc8hXwuGnU_-CFNn3Yx1JWrwGLCG0maRmLZ0pTHMoeRMErrG9J4slUTzFiDkJ_xRMi0MiLJAjPG0DSHGTpdSCf_rXcAauuut4_KQUdfRQhY9OOLAWb4-_J-OjI-kS0_Oop5gYWPsDzhsxadWPb4scmba9WJRA0AqZQHE2Xgwr6mwPfKxYwKY/s1450/Maggie%20August%20Ice%20Day.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1204" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPf2EwMtKFc8hXwuGnU_-CFNn3Yx1JWrwGLCG0maRmLZ0pTHMoeRMErrG9J4slUTzFiDkJ_xRMi0MiLJAjPG0DSHGTpdSCf_rXcAauuut4_KQUdfRQhY9OOLAWb4-_J-OjI-kS0_Oop5gYWPsDzhsxadWPb4scmba9WJRA0AqZQHE2Xgwr6mwPfKxYwKY/s320/Maggie%20August%20Ice%20Day.jpg" width="266" /></a></div><p></p><p>I used Stampin Up Soft Sky card stock and SU Afternoon Picnic designer paper. I am really late to this party. It has been a really busy couple of weeks and I just haven't had time to get this card posted. There have been doctor appointments and tests and then I was helping with our women's church group make greeting cards to hand out to all the youth in our Ward before they went back to school this week. They were just fun cards of encouragement to have a good school year. We had a great turnout of ladies that came to help. </p><p>For<a href="https://pattiescreationschallenge.blogspot.com/"> Pattie's Creations</a> this month, the theme was Beach/Under the Sea or Anything Goes. I chose to make my card using the theme of Beach. I do miss the beach. I haven't been there is many, many years. I remember years ago I would drive down to Galveston (about an hour's drive) early on a Saturday morning; stay a few hours while the weather was cool; and then come on home when the beaches started filling up with people. For this card, I would just have to put myself in the picture.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTTC-Q_O1dLjdvKQ5ZBbX0WvIo-FWhSzaJe-t9LeGwz-h1SGHoJo3bG-Qm0Lofu5TucZ4wZusQP8ltjA5EOLaV9jr6GPaJKYD_wcyJqR_R_apm5T35YmxiBOEr9U7iFeYzXtwgmFnI4lGpEW3jT96O2ZQErCWpl25uRJg5KL_nGJaU6-A2f36DYBXnzU8/s1450/Beach%20Time.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1119" data-original-width="1450" height="247" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTTC-Q_O1dLjdvKQ5ZBbX0WvIo-FWhSzaJe-t9LeGwz-h1SGHoJo3bG-Qm0Lofu5TucZ4wZusQP8ltjA5EOLaV9jr6GPaJKYD_wcyJqR_R_apm5T35YmxiBOEr9U7iFeYzXtwgmFnI4lGpEW3jT96O2ZQErCWpl25uRJg5KL_nGJaU6-A2f36DYBXnzU8/s320/Beach%20Time.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /> Materials:<p></p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li>Image - Pattie's Creations - Beach Time</li><li>Sentiment - Jillibean</li><li>Cardstock - XPress It Blending Card</li><li>Accessories - bling from stash; Stampendous embossing powder - Sand and Blue</li><li>Copic Markers - B0000; BG0000, BG01; E30, E31; G02, G03; R11, R17; Y15, Y19</li></ul><p>That's all for this card. This one is for the Challenge Your Stash challenge on SCS. Each month we have a hostess who chooses a theme for us and then we all make a card using our own stash of supplies - nothing new is to be purchased in order to make our card. I never have a problem with that since my craft room is full of supplies that I even forget that I have. </p><p> Our theme for this month was chosen by Pansy which is "Feeling Free." We were able to interpret this any way we wanted. This month I wanted to use a stamp set that I haven't used before. For a number of years I was an avid raiser of Monarch butterflies. To me they are the epitome of freedom. Their whole life cycle is fascinating to watch and then see them as they fly off after emerging from their chrysalis to freedom is just amazing. I wasn't really very happy with the way this stamp set stamped the images. They were not real clear and concise, but I went ahead and used them anyway. Sad because I may not use this set again.<br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwvIEkb0vbEOfeiQuTMKVG9drvNrueEadjnxrQ14Tc-MiuayrHz1n7hBWlNZqzAxH0xOBOM1YlgCkrqgN_K_-iEJkVTjYmdaPRiKu3-WsrGpSrqssh-BbS0dGf6bFmeNTg7RhRVO9gsvnLhP2quO4T026wxHQk0n--KXgtISwjX3-MysjpeWIyu2jl_0k/s1450/July%20Pansy%20-%20Free.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"> </a><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwvIEkb0vbEOfeiQuTMKVG9drvNrueEadjnxrQ14Tc-MiuayrHz1n7hBWlNZqzAxH0xOBOM1YlgCkrqgN_K_-iEJkVTjYmdaPRiKu3-WsrGpSrqssh-BbS0dGf6bFmeNTg7RhRVO9gsvnLhP2quO4T026wxHQk0n--KXgtISwjX3-MysjpeWIyu2jl_0k/s1450/July%20Pansy%20-%20Free.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbIaG6RoVeWhA8ZrXt4VcDJzUeGbrMl237wmLKO-Vb4ILmety8764XKbB_auz2lQuBJRsODgXs8xjYA3f6SqPEDg32MI3cpwfdHCRn5o_6X0wo7XHXUotY3w183y-z3CJnrMvRBEppIFjxzmiavg6mfylUCDb6qeNZ3G5x0NZTW4GYJSz_SFGasxNLqhI/s1450/July%20Pansy%20-%20Free.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1190" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbIaG6RoVeWhA8ZrXt4VcDJzUeGbrMl237wmLKO-Vb4ILmety8764XKbB_auz2lQuBJRsODgXs8xjYA3f6SqPEDg32MI3cpwfdHCRn5o_6X0wo7XHXUotY3w183y-z3CJnrMvRBEppIFjxzmiavg6mfylUCDb6qeNZ3G5x0NZTW4GYJSz_SFGasxNLqhI/s320/July%20Pansy%20-%20Free.jpg" width="263" /></a></div><br /></div><p><b>Materials used:</b></p><p></p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Image - </b>I believe this came from one of my stamping magazines.<b></b></li><li><b>Sentiment </b>- Same<b> </b></li><li><b>Ink </b>- Memento Tuxedo Black</li><li><b>Cardstock</b> - Stampin Up Pale Plum; Xpress It Blending Card</li><li><b>Designer Paper</b> - Basic Gray - Kioshi<b></b></li><li><b>Copic Markers -</b> G21, G24; N4; V12, V15; Y19; YG01; YR65, YR68</li></ul><br /> This is it for today. The images Terry sent were so cute that I didn't want to pass them up. Poor Terry. She ended up sending me this kit three times because the first two have gotten lost out in who knows where. Somehow they have never shown up at my house. Lucky for me, third time was a charm and I got her cute kit.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhghzFRx2VlBLRxO4An4fTIvE_64RS-LaMh-f1odHnaXd531fKlYpStECtusBMncddAab1TnpoRO5RCUvXns7eZrYqZJ-zp8lsn9NDKquxrGatNZBGJdsc8bewDOj0rYTWVbidQOW8iSbA1U9r71xZsfgEkXYXS22jnWA-wKqQDQ82SznZsa6ptcviuL7M/s1450/Terry%20June%20-%20%20Flowers%20For%20You.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1165" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhghzFRx2VlBLRxO4An4fTIvE_64RS-LaMh-f1odHnaXd531fKlYpStECtusBMncddAab1TnpoRO5RCUvXns7eZrYqZJ-zp8lsn9NDKquxrGatNZBGJdsc8bewDOj0rYTWVbidQOW8iSbA1U9r71xZsfgEkXYXS22jnWA-wKqQDQ82SznZsa6ptcviuL7M/s320/Terry%20June%20-%20%20Flowers%20For%20You.jpg" width="257" /></a></div><p><b>Materials Used</b>:</p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li>Image - Penny Black, Wonderful</li><li>Sentiment - Whiff of Joy - Spring Sentiments</li><li>Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black</li><li>Cardstock - SU Bordering Blue; Xpress It Blending Card</li><li>Designer Paper - Echo Park, Smell the Flowers; In Full Bloom</li><li>Copic Markers - B0000, E25, E31, E35; E40, E42; G21, G24; R85; Y13, Y15</li></ul><p>Great! Gosh, it's been awhile since I've posted a card for Creative Card Chicks. I missed June, but I plan to catch up on that one. This post is for the July challenge which we received from Sue (stampinspooky). Sue sent us the card kit with all the supplies except for the cardstock used for the base and mats. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWhvGSiiB2dBvL31WzdRPlU7xDSLxHsgafV3TCi-Yipw_sev1w66YMcOrD68eADPVbUoTwRAE9U_Wbgo4Fw08RPyWcx7mXfE7Ngfjv17OL2QAvqvXf3kfjP0QFH8f3EOmj1YzwxczxryY8xOuY__82WmtjEcu9unbwh0TXZFiJZofkYESqA5aBtQyeQvY/s1450/Sue%20July%20-%20Sailing%20Dreams.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1209" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWhvGSiiB2dBvL31WzdRPlU7xDSLxHsgafV3TCi-Yipw_sev1w66YMcOrD68eADPVbUoTwRAE9U_Wbgo4Fw08RPyWcx7mXfE7Ngfjv17OL2QAvqvXf3kfjP0QFH8f3EOmj1YzwxczxryY8xOuY__82WmtjEcu9unbwh0TXZFiJZofkYESqA5aBtQyeQvY/s320/Sue%20July%20-%20Sailing%20Dreams.jpg" width="267" /></a></div><p><b>Materials Used</b>:</p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li>Image - Stampin Up - Sailing Home</li><li>Sentiment - Stampin Up - High Tide</li><li>Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black</li><li>Cardstock - Stampin Up - Midnight Muse</li><li>Designer Paper - Stampin Up - Come Sail Away</li><li>Accessories - SU - Real Red Ribbon; anchor - Sue's stash</li><li>Copic Markers - B0000, B24; E0000, E11, E40</li></ul><p>Thanks for the fun kit, Sue. Well, I am a day late with getting this card posted. It's been a busy month and I haven't been able to get anything posted all month. Luckily, classes are over in a week and a half so I'll be on summer break. A little breathing room.</p><p>It's the first of the month so time for another post for <a href="https://pattiescreationschallenge.blogspot.com/">Pattie's Creations.</a> The theme is always Anything Goes, but for the design team we can use
the theme of Summer Fun. I chose to use Beach Gnome and make it into a beach scene. Just remember to always use a stamped or
digital image on your card. Pattie always provides a free image for you
to use if you like. You can also check out her Etsy shop with a link on
the challenge blog and see what fabulous digital stamps she has. Here is
my card.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgl5KVhjmoZ2VY1M7lKXCgi3Kzx_D0UwNbi7VDnQozJDSpsAz7o5orFIuEak8nlVEgJSOYN1PDwDcllOkbu_M0IKxUw7c6BrYOrTeNAi9scJ4QOURoCxN676rgvxOrC6sTPoQ3koOJlTb7EsTqTF74qmmyvVICL_U_gK0-7eJJAK--9FV_KK7wxJglcNvY/s1450/July%20beach%20gnome.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1415" data-original-width="1450" height="312" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgl5KVhjmoZ2VY1M7lKXCgi3Kzx_D0UwNbi7VDnQozJDSpsAz7o5orFIuEak8nlVEgJSOYN1PDwDcllOkbu_M0IKxUw7c6BrYOrTeNAi9scJ4QOURoCxN676rgvxOrC6sTPoQ3koOJlTb7EsTqTF74qmmyvVICL_U_gK0-7eJJAK--9FV_KK7wxJglcNvY/s320/July%20beach%20gnome.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /> <b>Materials Used:</b><p></p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Image - </b>Pattie's Creations, Beach Gnome with Surfboard</li><li><b>Sentiment - </b>Power Poppy<b></b></li><li><b>Card stock </b>- Stampin Up <b></b></li><li><b>Designer Paper - </b></li><li><b>Accessories -</b> Sailboat charm; cloud dies; fancy edge scissors</li><li><b>Copic Markers -</b>B0000, B00; E02, E11, E23, E25, E31, E42; G02, G05; N0; Y15, and Y19</li></ul><p>I hope you'll pop on over to<a href="https://pattiescreationschallenge.blogspot.com/"> Pattie's Creations</a> and check out what the

It is also the first Friday of the month of June so that means it's time for another challenge from <a href="https://pattiescreationschallenge.blogspot.com/">Pattie's Creations.</a> The theme is always Anything Goes, but for the design team we can use the theme of Things That Fly. Just remember to always use a stamped or digital image on your card. Pattie always provides a free image for you to use if you like. The sentiment is part of the image so I didn't have to do anything extra. </p><p>I used Stampin Up Crushed Curry for the card base and mat. The designer paper is from Recollections. I cut the image and die to match the form of the image from Pattie. I wanted to add some type of ribbon and found this Stampin Up Daffodil Delight pom pom trim and thought it went perfect. Added just a bit of bling and done. I used my Copic markers for coloring, simple colors.</p><p>I hope you'll pop on over to Pattie's Creations and check out what the rest of the Design Team has created. I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend with safe celebrations. I had a quiet day yesterday studying for an exam for this week's nutrition class. I just hope I can remember half of what I've read through the last three weeks. There's going to be a lot of studying this week. </p><p>I did have some time to get this card done for the Challenge Your Stash challenge over on SCS (Splitcoast Stampers). Each month there is a hostess who picks the theme and then we all make a card to go along with the theme using only items in our stash. This month the hostess was Sharon (smadson) and her theme was <b>"</b>to make May Day baskets and put them on the porches. Weave something or put a basket on your card."</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhpctViOtSXPwZ-c6CKe5rKg1qrrPcmnUTgf3w7pyBG7Y2UySprRBbSPU2mK7S8f090np2JJqqNExSwlobZTwpVTwrQRVvZ4eVUnmu5VEQm7_K6nn-SBcbZi_Q_IYkUsqrTczmloFC3YNnKNjT6_OSwwIBvQvEtidC8moGg7-wwgkpmuX7ew6aPtOJ/s1450/May%20Think%20of%20You%20Sharon.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1145" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhpctViOtSXPwZ-c6CKe5rKg1qrrPcmnUTgf3w7pyBG7Y2UySprRBbSPU2mK7S8f090np2JJqqNExSwlobZTwpVTwrQRVvZ4eVUnmu5VEQm7_K6nn-SBcbZi_Q_IYkUsqrTczmloFC3YNnKNjT6_OSwwIBvQvEtidC8moGg7-wwgkpmuX7ew6aPtOJ/s320/May%20Think%20of%20You%20Sharon.jpg" width="253" /></a></div><br /> Here is my card. I was in such a rush this weekend that I neglected to write everything down that I used to make this. I do know that the images were from Papertrey Ink, Thank You Florals and Vase Collection stamp sets with matching dies. I love having dies that go along with my stamps to save all that fussy cutting. I used my Stampin Up stamp pads for the basket and my Copic markers to color the flowers and added some sequins from my stash to finish it off. I love using flowers for my cards so this was a lot of fun.<br /><p></p>Margarethttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01174380245343404465noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1519719294737619245.post-57926531921878226622023-05-23T11:18:00.002-05:002023-05-23T11:18:37.355-05:00Happy Day - Creative Card Chicks<p> Hello, my friends. Good Tuesday morning. I hope things are going well with you. Weather here in H Town is starting to warm up. That brings the bad air quality so people are cautioned about being outside for too long. I don't get along with the heat very well, so I'm happy to stay indoors with the A/C.</p><p>Today I have a card to share with you for the SCS Creative Card Chicks monthly stamping group. This group has been around for a long time. We are down to only six members now, but we're still enthusiastic about card making and love to see what we get every month. The way it works is that we have a hostess each month. For the first six months, the hostess will send out a card kit to the other five members. For the second, six month, the hostess can either send a card kit or post a challenge and the members will use their own stamps and supplies to make their card. Either way, it's a lot of fun. This is our first month of our new season. It's been so many years I've lost track of how long we have been doing this.</p><p>For this month of May, Suzy (SuzyS1104) is our hostess and she sent a fun card kit for everyone. When making our card we are to use the items sent in the kit and only use the cardstock in our stash for the base and any mats we may need. </p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2CAcLK2Nzd9S58gg2VrPC1HcC9IGg4KZTEOU6C4kN7tsh2GzAN43StBWThAShcYiQUs36ItbkSo3m-OlTN1pLg650tJs0QcoJ33RfRbF8lSBuay9mYObkhOr9H6rhMqvKPBTS5HtnZ0Wf_3hR1VfvVYv7jmLgYl3RShmV4kNshi7sFQrXxY51YZRx/s1450/Happy%20Day%20-%20May%20Suzy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1192" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2CAcLK2Nzd9S58gg2VrPC1HcC9IGg4KZTEOU6C4kN7tsh2GzAN43StBWThAShcYiQUs36ItbkSo3m-OlTN1pLg650tJs0QcoJ33RfRbF8lSBuay9mYObkhOr9H6rhMqvKPBTS5HtnZ0Wf_3hR1VfvVYv7jmLgYl3RShmV4kNshi7sFQrXxY51YZRx/s320/Happy%20Day%20-%20May%20Suzy.jpg" width="263" /></a></div><br /> <b>Materials Used:</b><p></p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Image - </b>Stampin Up - Cherish Friendship</li><li><b>Sentiment -</b> Stampin Up - Bloomin' Marvelous</li><li><b>Ink -</b> Memento Tuxedo Black</li><li><b>Cardstock - </b>Papertrey Ink - Pure Poppy</li><li><b>Designer Paper - </b>Simple Stories - Summer Farmhouse</li><li><b>Accessories - </b>Joanne's Candy Dots<b>,</b> Stampin Up oval punch and scallop oval punch<b>; </b>stitched die, banner die<b>; </b>Dollar Tree - Twine<b></b></li><li><b>Copic Markers </b>- B0000; E00, E23, E25; G21, G24; R14, R29</li></ul><p> That's it for today. Happy weekend. It's been good weather today, but it looks like we'll get some stormy weather later tonight and a rainy week coming up. </p><p>I have a card to share with you. This is for <a href="https://pattiescreationschallenge.blogspot.com/">Pattie's Creations </a>challenge. It's always Anything Goes at Pattie's Creations, but we also have the theme of Flowers. My younger brother passed away this past January and one of his favorite flowers was the daffodil. I chose this image to use for my card.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyETIfDrddnj3MmFSw_3hVUyp3eQFYGOElVgkMJ3a3FOlcdtAkec0b-B_tcniUNM4tGGQpVsVD837CpslczowpBGzTmv9s2gnrx4e8Is1pTsKzZwpPOE73uh5nZyZeKg2lNvGzodXX13O9ZApl4BvYcAtGk_sMYhVTXQ1fY2hdPLLQGNGArYOxgNvC/s1450/May%20Daffodils.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1450" data-original-width="1210" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyETIfDrddnj3MmFSw_3hVUyp3eQFYGOElVgkMJ3a3FOlcdtAkec0b-B_tcniUNM4tGGQpVsVD837CpslczowpBGzTmv9s2gnrx4e8Is1pTsKzZwpPOE73uh5nZyZeKg2lNvGzodXX13O9ZApl4BvYcAtGk_sMYhVTXQ1fY2hdPLLQGNGArYOxgNvC/s320/May%20Daffodils.jpg" width="267" /></a></div><p>Materials Used:</p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li>Image - Pattie's Creations - Potted Spring Daffodils</li><li>Sentiment - Whiff of Joy - Spring Sentiments</li><li>Card stock - Stampin Up - Cucumber Crush; Xpress It Blending Card</li><li>Designer Paper - My Mind's Eye - Remarkable collection</li><li>Accessories - Nestabilities classic oval die; bling from my stash</li><li>Copic Markers - B0000; E95, E97, E99; G21, G24; Y13, Y15, Y18</li></ul><p>That's all for today.
