Bloom With Hope - IAS #26

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend. Mine has been 50:50. Saturday was great. I went to a genealogy seminar all day; met some great new people, and learned all about researching in the UK. I'm going to have to come up with a name for a new blog. I'm going to have to start one dedicated to genealogy.  This week I was contacted by someone looking for help for a research project so I've been HIRED! Wow! I didn't think it would happen so soon. I've very excited. I just hope I can do a good job. Anyone have any good ideas for the name of my new company???  Meanwhile, dealing with the old laptop and the new laptop and somewhere in between I have lost some files!!!!!  Not happy about that. I was able to search the old laptop and the external hard drive and the files aren't on either one. I'm going to contact the Geek Squad on Monday and seen if they think they can still get deleted files off the hard drive of the old laptop. Ugh!

So, to he business at hand. This is my DT card for International Art & Soul, Challenge No. 26 which is Anything Goes with Texture! You can make anything, but make sure you use some texture on it.  On mine, I used dry embossing. I haven't done that for awhile. I think it came out pretty good.

Materials Used:

Image - Stampin Up - Bloom With Hope
Sentiment - Stampin Up - Bloom With Hope
Cardstock - Stampin Up - Cool Caribbean
Ink - Stampin Up Cool Caribbean, Old Olive, Versamark
Accessories - Ribbon from my stash; Stampin Up label punch; white embossing powder
Copic Markers - forgot to write them down, but I'm pretty sure I used BG0000 to start with.

I do hope that you'll pop on over to International Art & Soul this week and play along with us. You'll have fun!  You could be the top winner or picked as one of the  Top 3.

  2. Congrats on being "hired"! You'll do just great! I feel the pain on the computers too. Mine died last week and now I'm trying to learn all over again on a new one.

LOVE your gorgeous card! The soft colors are so pretty.

    Congratulations on your hire.
I worked for the Census Bureau here in the United States for many years before I retired , it was a great place to gather information on your ancestors .
