Animal Friends - CK #59

Good morning my friends.  Sorry I'm a little late getting my blog. I knew there was something I wasn't doing.  It has been a little nerve wracking this week.  First I realized a week ago that I didn't have any security service on my house. Yikes!  I finally went wireless though and now am completely covered and also have the choice to do away with my land line.  What do you think? Do you still have a land line?  Why?

Okay, on to my card for this week's challenge at Creative Knockouts.  Our theme is Animal Friends, and so whatever you create, make sure you include an animal on it.
I just loved this cute little image. Reminds me of my house every morning or that's me on the pillow and my fur babies trying to get me up!

  1. Oh, Maggie this is so sweet and cute! It is the perfect theme for you isn't it? BTW , we still have a land line. I don't use a cell phone except when away from home. It's a question we will all be dealing with sooner or later!

  3. So adorable! First time I have seen that sentiment too! Love it. Glad you have piece of mind now at home. I still have my wall rotary landline phone. I kept saying I would get rid of it, but was glad I kept it as we were without power for 7 days during Hurricane Sandy and I had peace of mind. We had no access to gas for a few days so I didn't want to run my car to charge my cell etc. We are still weighing what to do.

  5. SO very cute and I love that precious image. Great card!
Check with the phone company before you get rid of the land line. My daughter said for us to keep it in case we ever have to dial 911. If it's from a land line they can trace the call to you quick! If it's from a cell phone it takes a lot longer to find where you are. We kept he line line but did away with the long distance service on it.

  7. Awww, that is cute! Tee hee! It really tickles my funny bone! I have a land line because the reception is better and it doesn't go out of service in a storm.
