Gone Fishing - OSAAT #218

-Hi everyone.  Hope you're having a wonderful weekend.  Things have settled down at the "cat house."  Casper has been doing fine and seems to be back to normal.  Corey has decided that he is his brother and doesn't hiss at him anymore.  Yeah!  I had to spend the day yesterday getting the house all cleaned up since the kids are coming over for dinner later today.

I did have time to get my card done for the One Stitch at a Time challenge for this week.  The image was chosen by my teammate, Shell.  I have a hard time with masculine cards, but I do like the way this one turned out.

Materials Used:

  • Image - Stitchy Stamps - Gone Fishing.  This had 3 different images to the set.
  • Sentiment - comes with the stamp image.
  • Stamp - Stampin Up - Lovely as a Tree
  • Ink - Stampin Up - Handsome Hunter and Chocolate Chip
  • Cardstock - Xpress It Blending Card; Stampin Up - Tempting Turquoise
  • Designer Paper - Basic Gray - Lime Rickey collection
  • Accessories - Fiber and bling from my stash; Nestabilities - Scallop Square die; Copic markers Y08, Y19, Y38
Our sponsor this time is Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet and our winner will receive 7  images from June.  The theme is Anything Goes - Easy Peasy, right!  So check out the OSAAT challenge blog to see what everyone else has created for you.    I hope you'll take part in the challenge. Can't wait to see what you come up with. BTW, One Stitch at a Time is going to be taking a summer vacation so this is my last card for the Design Team until we return in September.

I am submitting this card for the following challenges:
Ditzie Digi Design - Anything Goes
Glitter n Sparkle  - Add some yellow
Lacy Sunshine - Anything Goes
Pumpkin Spice - Masculine
Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything Goes

The Outlawz - Sunday CAS - Let's Hear it for the Boys

  1. Those are great images for a guy card! I love how the bold silhouette requires little or no coloring, yet you made it colorful with those beautiful blues. You remind me I should be doing something with my fibers, too. Those four boxes have been around for years! Good to hear Corey has accepted Casper finally. Baby steps.
