Rainy Day - OSAAT #206

Good morning and it is since it is morning when I'm finally getting my blog post up.  Oops. Sorry. I had a busy day yesterday with working out in my flower beds pulling weeds.  Gosh, where do they all come from?????  ;)   It's a back breaking task, but has to be done.  I also bought some more plants to go in those beds, so as soon as my lawn guy gets over here and gets them planted, it will look very pretty.

I had great fun working on my card this time and had a blogging friend of mine in mind as I put it together.  She recently lost her mom to ALS, a dread disease. I actually know 2 other people who have lost loved ones to this disease.  I wanted to share in her sympathy, but also wanted it to be uplifting.
Here's a close up of the paper pieced umbrella.
And then the additional sentiment inside.
Materials Used:
Image: BBCakes - Rainy Day
Sentiments - Both from the Internet and computer generated
Cardstock - Xpress It Blending Card; Stampin Up Strawberry Slush
Designer Paper - NitWit Collection - Perfect Pair
Accessories - Bling from my stash; Petaloo flowers; Nestabilities Scallop Square Die and Labels Fourteen Die; Flourish Die - maybe Memory Box
Copic Markers - B0000, C0, C1, C5, C8; E31, E33, E35, E47; G00, G40, G3, R81, R83, R85
