In Remembrance - Jacqui of The Digi Garden

Hi friends.  If you're in the digital stamp world you probably have seen images from The Digi Garden.  I loved her images and proudly own quite a few of them.  It was with great sadness that I learned last week of Jacqui's passing.  I had just had some e-mail exchanges with her days earlier and had received her new release images.  Even though she had some health issues, it was a great shock to friends and family to learn of her passing.  I thought it only appropriate to use one of Jacqui's images to make this card that I'm sending to Lisa, her sister, to send my sympathies to Jacqui's family.

Materials Used:
  • Image - The Digi Garden - Lucy's Flower
  • Sentiment - Outside - Stampin Up Fancy Flexible Flowers; Inside says "Gentle Thoughts During These Difficult Times" from my stash
  • Cardstock - Stampin Up Cranberry Crisp; Xpress It Blending Card
  • Designer Paper - Basic Gray Lucille (I just love this paper)
  • Accessories:  Nestabilities - Classic Oval and Lacey Oval; Stampin Up small oval and large oval punches; Flowers - Prima; Glitter Brad from my stash; Lace from my stash
  • Copic Markers - B0000, B000, B01; E07, E13, E93; E50, E51, E53; E31, E33, E35; E25, E27; Y17, Y19; W3 and W5
I am submitting this card for the following challenges:

  2. Hello Maggie, Thanks for taking a moment to stop by my blog. I love visiting others and admiring the different talents everyone shares. Your work is wonderful and your coloring abilities are exceptional. I haven't conquered doing coloring/shading with my work as of yet. I am learning about Digi's and alcohol inks as part of my new crafting attempts this year. Along with making more cards. Wish me luck.
